My guess is Marcus Coleman. The secondary is deep and with the good camp that Watkins is having, there isn't much need for an aging veteran who hasn't played well in a couple of years.

Keith Davis. Big contract or not, his off-season troubles plus Pat Watkins' improved play will give Tuna an excellent excuse to make an example out of Keith Davis - again.

The biggest name that I can think of will be Terrance Copper. If Sam Hurd continues to impress and can show something on special teams he could play his way onto the 53 man roster. There really aren't a whole lot of other surprises I expect to see. I just don't see Henson being released at this point and Summers looks more like a practice squad guy so Tyson Thompson should stay as well. Our roster still does not have the overall depth it takes to start releasing big names.

No real big names, but I would say Jason Fabini, Terrence Copper and Justin Beriault will not make the team. I suppose Kenyon Coleman will make the team, but I am still waiting for him to actually make a play.

Jason Fabini. Parcells already scolded Jason during mini-camp and now I hear him running at 3rd team. With names such as Adam Meadows and now Lincoln Kennedy brought up, it does not bode well for Jason. If I hear Erik Williams name next, then its a done deal.

A beat writer who does not work for DMN recently wrote,
"{Jason}Fabini, although a declining player, is a huge upgrade from Rob Petitti at right tackle. Once viewed as a 'project player,' he parlayed excellent work ethic and mental toughness into becoming one of the most consistent tackles in the league."
At this point, Fabini would appear to be a huge disappointment, not a "huge upgrade." He was bad in mini-camp, and he is currently working with the third team. Will Coach Parcells cut a former player who a few months ago received a $1.75 million signing bonus? It is beginning to look like a possibility?
