Looks like Romo got his way. He is either our starter next year or he is gone. Pretty dry cut.

good contract for Romo, hopefully this will keep his focus on football rather than golf. also, could this be a precursor contract to keep him around and focused for him to become our future QB? I wonder!

This deal looks like it works out for both parties. I don't see why Romo will be gone next year if he is not the starter, a good backup is worth that sort of money. Now if he doesn't pan out as a good backup, then I'd guess he's gone. If he looks like he might be the starter down the road, then I feel they'll look to rework the contract again?

Nope, but that is about right for a decent backup in this league. You really need to good QBs to be successful, at least one that can come in an take over the reins for a couple or three of games.
Evidently, the management thinks he can.

Tony babes, You are not the only "reason" the Cowboy's didn't win this last nutso game. Your fingers slipped, and we all slip in life. You know, it happens. You're one of the best EVER and we still love you and can't wait to see your talent shine in the future! Hugs and kisses, Dee Dee in Corpus Christi, TEXAS! :)
