Drew Henson will probably become the third-string quarterback for the Colts early next week, according to a source. The Colts haven't begun the season with three quarterbacks on the roster since 2002. The release of Shaun King over the weekend was somewhat surprising because Peyton Manning's backup, Jim Sorgi, missed the final two preseason games with a sprained right shoulder. Henson has remained in Dallas since being released by the Cowboys. He is scheduled to be in Indianapolis on Monday. |

So wouldn't that pretty much indicate he's going to be a clipboard holder for life? Surely even the biggest Henson homer isn't going to claim that he'll supplant Manning.

Henson joining the Colts would be
great. A classy organization indeed.
Drew will continue to grow behind
Manning, one of the games best ever.
The head coach is second to none. He
will value what Drew will bring to the
the back up position.
