Is there a QB controversy?

Asked if he thought about pulling Drew Bledsoe in favor of Tony Romo at any point, Bill Parcells said, "No I didn't."

Asked about his quarterback situation heading into next week's game against the Redskins, Parcells indicated that Bledsoe would get the start.

Tony Romo said it was the "nature of the game" and said he was more concerned about winning than going in the game.

"My approach will stay the same," he said.

More from Parcells on Bledsoe's performance: "I thought it was real good to start the game. Now's not a good time to be talking about that. Let me look at the film and I'll let you know what I think."

On what he was trying to challenge in the fourth quarter: "I didn't think the official stopped the clock when their receiver went out of bounds. On the play in front of Newman, I don't think they stopped the clock...I'm just trying to get their attention. I thought by throwing the red flag it would get it."

That timeout was one of the reasons the Cowboys tried the onside kick rather than kick it deep late in the game.

Regarding Flozell Adams' play at left tackle: "He told me he was ready to go, said he was feeling good. There is no excuse in play here....Just didn't play well."

Could it be McQuistan time? It won't take us long to find out.

There should be a controversy. I just feel like we know exactly what we have in Bledosoe, and honestly, it's not going to get us too far, regardless of Owens, Glenn, Witten, etc. Before it's too late and we fall too many games behind, throw Romo in. What is there to lose?

I watched the game and listened to Drew Bledsoes' post game comments. He played awful, but didn't admit. His mistakes were momentum changers and resulted in too much pressure on the defense. Unfortunately, he is prone to bad games and that is why the Cowboys will never win a championship as long as he is quarterback. You need to put 3 or 4 good games together under pressure to win the Super Bowl. He just can't do it for some reason or another.

Romo should have been given a chance. I am afraid that Parcels mistakenly kept Bledsoe in the game out of loyalty to his player rather than putting the best player in the game that gave the team a chance to win. It was clear that Bledsoe was not performing up to 100% and Coach should have pulled him. If any other player had been playing at such a poor and ineffective level... he would have been pulled and sat on the bench. Romo should have gone in at the end of the third quarter. The game is about winning. We are suppose to play the best talent for the matchup. In this instance, it's quite clear that Romo would have been better situated to deal with the defense and to handle the offensive line weaknesses.

Is Bledsoe hurting? I'm sure he wouldn't say as he's a hardnose player, but it sure seemed as though his passes were flat at times. He also seemed to be in some discomfort on the final Dallas scoring drive, but as I stated, he gutted though it....was that because of who is waiting in the wings or because Bledsoe is tough guy?

Romo needs to start soon or the season will be lost and TO will cause a huge problem. Let s face the fact of Bledsoe, he lost his job twice to one great QB and another so so QB. He is slow in the pocket! Where Romo knows how to step up! Romo just needs to take care of the ball (and not fumble) and he will take the cowboys to the playoffs!!!

I tried every chance I got to defend Bledsoe, but I'm done. I don't care if Romo can do better (I believe he will) but no more Bledsoe for me. I swear it looked as if he had money on the other team. For a 14 year veteran, he makes some stupid decisions.
