Two draft picks are cut

For the second time in Bill Parcells' tenure, two draft picks failed to make the team in Skyler Green (fourth) and Montavious Stanley (sixth). Green didn't show the same burst he had at LSU during the preseason, and Stanley came on late but lost out to Thomas Johnson as the backup nose tackle.

Both are eligible for the practice squad, but I think Green might be scooped up because teams will look at their draft reports on him and could take a chance. Stanley has the better chance to be on the practice squad.

In 2003, Parcells' first year, corner B.J. Tucker (fifth) and guard Justin Bates (seventh) didn't make the team. But that was a productive draft with Terence Newman, Al Johnson, Jason Witten and Bradie James coming in as the first four picks.
