Guess the score contest

10:56 AM Thu, Oct 05, 2006 |
  E-mail   News tips

You have until tomorrow at noon to make a prediction for Sunday's game. The winner will receive a slap on the back and his or her full name and place of residence listed on this blog.

I'm looking for at least 20,000 entries, so don't let me down. Have to head out to Valley Ranch now. I should make it just in time to miss practice.

Posted by Gary @ 11:46 AM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

Have some guts! We're going to expose an average team, 34-13. This will feel great. Only x factor would be Bledsoe having another bad game, but I think it won't happen for a while now. We'll fix their little red wagon!

Posted by Dave Starkey @ 11:49 AM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

21-17 Dallas. TO scores 2 of 3 TDs.

Lets get real okay...Philly has played some not so good club's in four games now and this sunday a much better club with a real "D" is going to take the field and a not so bad "O". Philly has alot of issue's with player's being hurt on both sides of the ball,so sunday you will see Dallas walk away with the win and Philly's #1 "O" go to the dawg's...It's going to be fun so stay tuned!!!

28-24 Cowboys. JJ and Barber become the most feared running tandem in the league.

Posted by Cindy @ 12:29 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

Posted by Chris Metcalf @ 1:09 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

Cowboys 27-24 and Bledsoe puts up 300 + on Philly secondary. I also see McThumb receiving a vicious hit from Roy Williams. Keep up the good work Matt.

Posted by Steve @ 2:11 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

41-20 Cowboys. Philly D cannot match up to the Cowboys O and Philly makes mistakes playing from behind. (This is assuming Stallworth and Westbrook do not go. 34-27 if Westbrook plays.)

20-17, Dallas. The Vandershank hits one in the final seconds.

Posted by A-Cast @ 2:12 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

27-17 Cowboys!! TO has great TD celebration, Roy punishes a few eagles and has another great game. J Jones and Barber combine for over 130 tough yards and all is well at Valley Ranch.

Posted by Larry @ 2:20 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

28-17 Dallas
No one seems to mention that Philly's schedule thus far has consisted of teams with a combined 3-8 record

Posted by William @ 2:21 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

Cowboys 34 Eagles 16

Cowboys 31
Eagles 17

Posted by Joseph Baucum @ 2:31 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

Dallas 2
Philadelphia 0

That's right, it's a defensive battle as Dallas shutouts Philadephia in the Eagles own house. A safety wins it for the good guys.

Cowboys 23 Eagles 20!

Posted by Kevin Pate @ 2:42 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

31-26 Dallas!

Posted by Lunging Wolf @ 2:46 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

27 - 21 Cowboys. T.O. scores early, and the D-line gets under McScabbs skin. Non-Cowboy fans are forced to go blog on their own teams fan site...Yeah, right.

Posted by Art @ 2:54 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

30 - 17 Dallas. Terry Glenn has a big day and the defense scores a touchdown on a turnover.

Posted by Bobby Weldy @ 2:54 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

24-17 Da Boys! TO 2 Touchdowns. Terry Glenn 1 & Vanderjagt kicks a field goal. Oh Yeah, and McNabb ain't gonna rush for no TDs against this defense!

Posted by Michael @ 3:23 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

This game will get the fans/press fired up over the Bledsoe-Romo controversy. Eagles apply enough pressure to make Drew throw more than one ball to the team wearing the wrong laundry.

Dallas - 19
Philadelphia - 31

Cowboys fans, take heart: In '92 we went up there and lost on a Monday night, 31-7 (the Hershel Walker game). Philadelphia fans and the Eagles' players walked away feeling like they won the Super Bowl. Elation run amok! That season didn't turn out too badly...

2 - 0. Ware gets a saftey in the 1st quarter, and the game fails to live up to it's hype. 2-0? wouldn't that be awesome?

Dallas 31 Philadelphia 30
Yes, it's gonna be that close.

Posted by mghammond @ 5:37 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

38-17, Dallas. Dallas D and/or one of Dallas' kick/punt returners will score.

Posted by Brian M., Atlanta @ 10:11 PM Thu, Oct 05, 2006

Matt, first of all can I say please get a haircut or wear a hat before you appear on web-cam during the press conference. All right on to the score, I have been over and over this and in the end the Cowboys just are a better all around football team...IF Bledsoe does not turn into the Bledsoe of game 1. I feel he will do just fine, and the Cowboys will win the game in a lopsided affair; 38-10, behind TDs from T.O., Glenn, Witten, and Jones(2), and one FG from Vandy. 2 INTs for the D, one by Newman the other by Watkins.
