On the circus atmosphere surrounding Sunday's game: "There’s a lot of hoopla around me, but it’s been a rivalry around here for years, the Cowboys and Eagles. Just with me being here, there’s just some added excitement." How special is this game to you? "Once we win, it will be special. Right now, like I said, it’s a game. It’s probably the most televised, most watched game throughout the year besides the Super Bowl." So you're guaranteeing a win? "I’m not guaranteeing a win. I feel very confident. I feel comfortable with the way we’re running the ball, the way we’re throwing the ball, the way we’re playing on offense, the way we’re playing on defense." Will it be difficult to focus? "Hey man, I’m having fun. I’m not going to let what the fans say or do take me out of my game. I’ve been playing this game for a while now. I’m not going to let them distract me." What's your relationship like with McNabb? "I haven’t seen him or talked to him. It is what it is. He plays for the Eagles and I play for the Cowboys. I’m going to go out there and be focused and do my normal routine." How's your hand? "Not a problem. Not a problem." The Philly fans: "They’re going to heckle. I’m probably the most hated guy coming into Philly this weekend, so I expect the worst. That’s how passionate they are. When I was there, they were loving me. Now that I’m on the opposite side, they’re going to be hating me. I expect that going in...we’re not going there to taste the cheesesteaks. We’re not going there to visit the crack in the Liberty Bell. We’re going up there to try to win a ball game. We know that we have a tough opponent ahead of us. We’ve got our hands full." How he feels about being in the spotlight: "I’m always in the middle of a storm. I feel like I’m in the middle of a storm right now." |
