The best hamburger in Dallas?

Many of you have asked this important question, and my answer will always remain JG's Old-Fashioned Burgers, which is located near Greenville and Forest.

Headed to my second-favorite place, Uptown Bar and Grill, to meet a college buddy right now.

Archer will take you the rest of the way.

While I agree that Uptown bar and Grill does have a good burger, I must hold fast that The Angry Dog on Commerce street in Deep Ellum exceeds any ground beef delicacy in the metroplex. Next door St. Pete's Dancing Marlins also has a good burger and the worlds greatest buffalo wings. BTW I predict 2 sacks by Demarcus Ware and maybe we'll finally see a Newman pic on Monday night.

The best in the DFW metroplex is at Jim's Hamburgers on Division Street in arlington. Old-fashioned burgers w/ butter toasted buns and sauteed onions. Man, is it lunch time yet???

Hey, have you tried Coppell Deli, in Coppell, over by DFW. Their original location makes a great burger with that sporty, good food atmosphere. Its Great!

Isn't this why "D" Magazine exists?

Twisted Root on Commerce in Deep Ellum is new and has good burgers and a cool atmoshpere. Also have a "Flavor of the Week" root beer (although I didn't try the banana rum root beer when we went yesterday).

I work a block away from Uptown Grill and have eaten there twice. I can safely say that I could make a better hamburger in my sleep.

all Good Luck Drive-Inns, but particularly:

Good Luck @ 2642 S Oakland Avenue -or-

Good Luck @ 5018 S 2nd Avenue / both in Dallas

any time after 9 p.m. is best!

I don't know if it is still there but when I lived in Dallas the best burgers were definitely at the Greenville Bar and Grill. Loved their fries and special sauce too.
