Trey opened NFL Live with mentions of "Romo-mentum" and "Romo-mania" late Thursday evening. He also referred to the "Dallas Romos" at one point. Love the smug look he threw down when he asked a lowly producer to "put 1:15 on the clock" for the Countdown segment. Schlereth and Woody came out a little flat tonight, but you have to cut them some slack since they filled in for Mike Golic this morning on the Mike and Mike Show. It would be interesting to see what would happen if The Ticket's Musers ever got some real competition in morning drive. I think it would only make them better - and they're already a great listen.

Matt, the Musers (and the Ticket in general) are one of a kind. I think if they got competition, they'd get better as well. Lot's of loyalty to the ticket here in Dallas, and for good reason. They make you laugh till your spleen hurts.

Romo is 3 great Cowboy QBs rolled into one. His accurracy (69% comp. rate) reminds me of Aikman, his mobility reminds me of Staubach, and his personality reminds me of "Dandy" Don Meredith.

They had real competition once. He does the 10 to noon time slot now for the Ticket. If Norm couldn't compete I think 103.3 is smart to just kind of sit out the time slot.

The Musers are usually a good listen, but mostly for JubJub and Gordo. Miller is a spare that only knows San Antonio Spurs and yellow shorts.

Trey, Michael, and Woody are beginning to tip the balance of power on ESPN. I remember the days when all we got from them came from Berman, whose not exactly the biggest Dallas Cowboy lover. I think Trey is a fan, and couldn't hide it if he tried. Michael, stand your ground in that hostile territory you have to subsist in.

Dallas isn't the only place doing without a local morning sports radio show. The Ticket in SA moved the morning crew to evening and left us with a Cowboy-hatin' Steve Czaban during drive time in the mornings. How 'bout them... um... Bears? Bulls? Cubs? What the heck?

I used to be a P1 for the Ticket but they stopped doing sports shows a long time ago. Norm tries to hold down the fort but I think he's ready to give up. Mike and Mike is a really good show that provides a national opinion, it's a real sports talk format. I've been converted. Jen and Randy's shows are also a cut above anything on the Ticket. Then there's Dan Patrick, well... I have to do some work sometime.

In Houston all the morning guys suck and its nice to hear national news anyway. All the local stuff ends up being the same. Same complaints and cheers.
