And that concludes the Bill news conference

He went out of his way to be positive in the wake of last night's debacle. Even a line of T.O. questioning couldn't bring him out of his mellow state.

This is a far cry from his Friday news conference, which he ended abruptly.

I'm curious. Do most of you guys listen to the news conferences?

Nomral I don't being at work. But you highlight all of the good / bad stuff Bill said, so i have no reason to..Do you really read these comments?

Monday press conferences are the most fun to listen to, especially when you guys in the press are in rare form. I try to catch the Wednesday one as well, but usually for me Monday is the one to catch.

Yes, every day... try to do it live but that doesn't always work out...

Parcells mentioned something about an injury on the team and that he hasn't ruled that person out... who was he talking about? it was hard to hear who the reporter said.

Indeed I do. It's harder on a day like today, but my insatiable desire for more Cowboy information takes me far and wide across the web, including listening to Press Conferences at least twice a week.

I listen to the news conference every day....good stuff. Love him or hate him (Parcells) he is entertaining to watch. By the way, the post game report on Dallascowboys.com also had the wrong score at the end of the game....whats his name, Norm hitgze, or somthing like that had no idea what the final score was. Wonder what he was drinking?

Soooo . . . T.O. isn't "happy". He's "bored" and is "faking it" on the field sometimes. That's why he's dropping balls and running lazy routes. At least, that's what he said to Michael Irvin. So I'm listening to Jim Rome today and he made a good point: If you're getting the opportunity you wanted; playing with a team you wanted to play for; for an owner who embraced you; for more money than any of us will ever see; on a national stage; with a good quarterback; on a winning team . . . and you're STILL not happy!?!?!?

I'm thinking there's something else wrong with you.

I watch them while they happen. Bill's comments and facial expressions are classic. Especially when he throws in a "consider yourself sucked" quip.

Posted by Mark @ 2:12 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

I listen to every parcells conference.. just shows how exciting my life is ;-)

Posted by Jeremy @ 2:21 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

Yep, when I can find the links. I find the Parcells conferences particularly entertaining, depending on his mood.

Honestly, I don't listen to the news conferences - mainly because I don't want to get in trouble at work for watching videos. For me, transcripts would be great. I am very interested, but would rather read than watch.

I listen to as many as I can. Being from Buffalo Bills country (Fairport, NY), it's the only Dallas coverage I can get that isn't tainted by which direction ESPN wants the story to go.

Try to listen, but the transcript you provided today was nice, lets me keep up with things while burning time at work. Keep doing this please!!

Parcells press conferences are the highlight of my day. Work doesn't allow me to listen to them, but I access enough web resources dedicated to the 'Boys that I can get a decent recap of what he said any day.

On message boards, his every word is picked apart, his tone is analyzed to gauge his mood, and his quotes on certain players are used as ammunition to defend/challenge a point made in a discussion.

Yours today provided a different perspective. I liked it.

I have to.

Just so I don't miss one second of BaD Radio.

Plus, I find the Al Michaels drop of 'Look out, here comes Parcells!' funny.

Posted by gpaq @ 6:06 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

I try to listen to all. Usually do. Most are quite interesting.

Posted by P @ 6:09 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

I download the news conferences to listen to after work. The transcripts today helped out tons because it's hard sometimes to hear the questions on the webcast.

Posted by Gerald @ 7:20 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

I listen to every one of them. It's some of the most entertaining and informative football talk there is. Also, it's the only way to hear everything in PROPER context and not after it's sliced and diced by the television mavens so that comments are used to support a story line. By the way, Matt, why do you ask so few questions ?

Posted by Ron Dominguez @ 9:15 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

I listen/watch them all when they are posted to dallascowboys.com. Cowboysplus.com takes too long to post them, and the audio is better on dallascowboys.com. Matt, this blog rocks, keep up the good work!

I watch them on NFL Network

I would like to say one thing only. Terry Glen is one of the best wide-outs that the cowboys have had in the last 30 years. This guy never drops a pass. He even catches the un-catchables every now and then. Where is all the media support for this guy? He's one of the reasons were still in this thing. Please give some credit to Terry Glen for keeping us alive.
