Bill reaches out to Andy

Eagles coach Andy Reid is not known for colorful interviews but he did reveal that Bill Parcells called to encourage him a few weeks ago.

When the Eagles fell to 5-6 and lost Don McNabb for the season, Parcells called to remind Reid that his 1990 Giants team overcame the loss of Phil Simms and won the Super Bowl with Jeff Hostetler.

The only difference is that the Giants began that season with 10 consecutive victories.

On a different subject, has anyone seen the new Rocky movie? Thinking about seeing it tonight, although I have to get corporate to sign off.

Headed to see the Empress.

You could always just go watch a couple of old men at the hursing home fighting over a game of checkers instead. This time around, Rocky isnt fighting for the WBF or WBC crown. He's fighting for the AARP crown.

Way to go, Tuna. Give lots of encouragement to our hated rivals. Sheesh.

rocky balboa. the good scenes were great. the bad scenes were pretty bad. it had hints of the first rocky, but not enough. adrian is really missed, but paulie is great. he and rocky have two or three great scenes that could have been a lot more. they are what is left after all these years. you could tell there wasn't alot of money and sly didn't know how to do low budget-- where its more about character, less about set pieces. shooting Philly in the winter doesn't change with budget. It looks the same with 50 million or 1 million. it could have been classic, because Philly looks the same as it did in the first... over all it felt empty... kinda like an old boxer... but i don't think that is what he intended. it is worth seeing though.

Why in the world would Parcells encourage the coach of a team within the Cowboys' division??? What is up with that???

Matt, you MUST go see Rocky Balboa. I saw it last night and I wasn't disappointed! I've seen all the Rocky movies so I can appreciate each and every one of them in their own special way. This particular Rocky movie is sad, funny, and gritty from beginning to end. Has a great storyline as well if you really pay attention. Sly was able to hint at many different situations throughout the movie that kept pulling you closer and closer. GO SEE IT!

Go see rocky this morning. I loved it. Saw it at the parks this morning.

IT is like a stripped down rendition of the first one.

Again I loved it. The way they filmed the fight was like actually watching a fight on ppv. DIdnt seem like a movie.

It was shorter than I thought.

The only downside was the espn stuff.
Max kellerman, dana jacobson and skip bayless. These three people are horrendous on espn and in this movie.

Jacobson, bayless and cold pizza need to go away.

oh and what took so long for the eagles trolls.
