Christmas Pro Bowl Blog Spectacular has begun

We're doing the AFC first. No surprises early. Good to see my man Will Shields making his 12th appearance.

Marshall Faulk just said Peyton Manning has "two Johnsons to throw to."

Shawne Merriman, Champ Bailey and Ed Reed are all starters on the AFC defense. Rashean Mathis a first-time Pro Bowler.

Schefter, an admitted reader of this blog, has his feet under him now.

Dang it. We're going to a break before the NFC guys are announced. Let's see what Trey's saying in Bristol.

Why not just look at the roster on NFL.com.

Your boy McBriar is in! Along with Romo, Ware and Williams.

Unfair that Peyton has two and Matt doesn't have one.

Tony Romo

If they overlook Lousaka Polite I'm gonna scream.

Get out the anointing oil. Romo's in!

No Newman though? Doesn't the rest of the league see how good this guy is? Terence Newman should be there, no question. I can't believe Roy "I can't cover you" Williams is in there.

The roster is already posted on nfl.com. I'm prepared to say the whole thing is illegitimate because Ronde Barber is going but Terence Newman is not.

Tell Plaxico, the rest of his peers don't agree with the Roy assessment.

& the Roy haterz posing as Cowboys fan, that the guys who actually play the game think he's something.

btw: Newman not making it is wrong.
