The Eagles spent Tuesday nursing running back Brian Westbrook's Pro Bowl wounds. In my mind, though, Terence Newman has an even better argument. I'm shocked the coaches and players didn't come up with enough votes to elect Newman. And T.O. and Witten both have reasons to be upset. m |

Westbrook? Not necessarily a game changer. The guy has over 1000 yards but so do 20 other backs.
LT, and Tiki were good choices. Anyone else was a toss up.

Please don't tell (unowho) that he has a reason to be upset. After reading today's tire foibles it wouldn't be surprising to see Matt sportin' the one last Gangster Whitewall left in Dallas county.

Hey Matt,
Love the blog. I think Parcells has his game shows confused when the fire alarm went off during his presser today. "Beulah the Buzzer" was from "Truth or Consequences" not Groucho's show. It sucks getting old!

It's disappointing that Witten and Newman didn't get elected. T.O. was snubbed simply because he's T.O. This may have been a way to keep the problem child, his media circus, and his league leading 15 dropped passes out of Hawaii.

First of all the Pro Bowl is mostly a popularity contest, at least as far a fan voting goes. Most fans have no idea of stats or player ability and they vote on who they like, for any number of reasons which may have nothing to do with football. So for all of you that didn't get the vote, don't worry as you didn't really lose anything.

Not worried about the Pro Bowl, since Larry Allen was elected again, proving once and for all that it's certainly not based on what happens during the game.

Think about how mad TO is going to be on Monday. Eagles, Jeff Garcia/Donovan payback, Pro Bowl snub, winning the division.
He should have half the game the Eagles FB is going to have. The way were defending them thats pretty good.

They (Eagle's) are going to use Westbrook against us the same way the Saint's used Bush against us. Hope Dallas is ready this time (obviously wasn't ready for Bush). If not, we are gonna get stomped, which will lead to Owens exploding.

Joe Moreno - Westbrook not a game changer? You'll become a believer along with the broken ankled Cowboys defense sometime between 4 PM and 7 PM on Christmas.

I respect your comments but...
Were coming down to Dallas to take care of business, just don't spit on us...

Don't forget to root for the Giants this week..strange as it sounds. The Saints need to lose one for Cowboys to get #2 seed.

Newman and Witten have room to be upset, but the biggest tragedy is Jason Ferguson. The man is like a trash can full of rocks, except unlike the previous holder of that title(other john nix), this trashcan has arms and actually makes tackles. He hasn't been handled by a single blocker on one play all year!

UH-OH...the last thing the Boys need is BWestbrook with a chip on his shoulder. My over/under is 200 all purpose yards for him, with the over looking real good.
Psst Zimmer - you also might want to keep a look out for Mahle.
