Is McBriar the best punter of all-time?

Damn straight he is.

At least in the post-Baugh era.

Look out for a kid out of Waco by way of Highland Park named Sepulveda, though.

The Sepulveda-McBriar matchup could become one of the great rivalries in sports.

Here's the text message I received from Mat McBriar after congratulating him on the Pro Bowl: "Thx M8."

Brief yet so, so Australian.

McBriar is having a great season no doubt. But the best punter in recent league history is Ray Guy of the Raiders. He was athletic enough to do many things and he bailed them out plenty of times. In Cowboy history McBriar is comparible to Rob Widby, but Danny White was the most valuable punter because of what he brought to the table. You never knew if he was going to kick, run or pass. He was a triple threat.
