NBC just showed footage of Romo hugging former American Idol champion Carrie Underwood during pre-game warmups. She's now been tucked into a suite for safekeeping. Meanwhile, the Cowboys could really use a score on this possession. Illegal contact on Rod Hood on that last play. Hood was allegedly playing dominoes with T.O. at the Renaissance. Romo takes off on the quarterback sneak and Underwood loves every minute of it. m |

This is the worst trend in sports television. It seems the networks think almost anything on the sidelines or in the stands is more interesting than the game.

As much as I enjoy eye candy, I'd rather the announcers, and the cameras focus on the game.
