You noticed that Jeff Garcia was bleeding from his throwing hand during Sunday's game against the Giants. On Thursday, he said the gaping wound was nothing to worry about.

"It has no effect on my ability to throw the football," Garcia said earlier this morning.

He suffered the injury during the Monday night game against Carolina two weeks ago.

Garcia and Reid both talked about the impact that offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg has had on the offense. Garcia worked with Mornhinweg when the two were in San Francisco.

"Having that in my back corner has been a positive thing for me," Garcia said of Mornhinweg. "

He also talked about how close he came to signing with the Texans.

Garcia thought he probably had a better chance of playing behind David Carr than Donovan McNabb, but the Eagles made him a better offer.
