It's official. Tony Romo has changed his cellphone number after it was posted on the Philadelphia Eagles' Web site. Tony said today that he received several messages from Eagles fans and was forced to change his number. The number appeared in a fan forum on the site. I'll be posting the new number later this afternoon. Back with the Afternoon Report in a few minutes. m |

Doesn't surprise me they would do such a low-class act. Tony better hope they don't find out his residential address.
They're a bunch of bottom feeders.
And just in case Tony ACTUALLY reads this blog, just wanted him to know there's a nine-year-old quarterback in California who almost jumped out of his jammies on Christmas morning when he opened his #9 Cowboys jersey - and hasn't taken it off since.

I blame Underwood for the leak

Now that's funny

Cindy Mac, this here 30+ year old in Hotlanta has done the same with his #9 Romo jersey received on Christmas morning! When I saw the headline for this post I freaked and though I'd have to go out and get another Romo jersey. Can I ask a question, serious question...can Romo be Brady II? I think he can, he's smart enough, has the tools, so why not let him? Here's where I'm going, we do NOT need T.O.! They can and will be perfectly fine with WRs who will compete; Glenn, Crayton, Hurd, etc., so next season, Jerry...let's give it a try.

"later this afternoon" - thanks Matt, you always have our best interests at heart.

Why cant they ever leak a good number like Carrie Underwood's or Jessica Simpson's?

"I'll be posting the new number later this afternoon." lol, good one Matt

Any chance of you posting T.O.'s number here for us fans? We just want to send some holiday cheer, and hope the finger is hurting bad messages.

Owens' direct number is 1-800-ALL-MOUF.

Hey Matt...why don't you post T.O.'s number. I think several of us could give him some good advice. ROTFLMAO

Haha good job cowboys. Really took it to the eagles this week. Its a shame Romo isn't that joe montana you thought he was. Thanks for the two wins you gave the birds this year.

The Eagles definitely had his number on Christmas Day.

Is this story for real? And if so, why did it only come out now? And why is it not reported anywhere else. I smell an excuse.

As for the person who gave their son a jersey, you probably should have waited considering the cowboys are making a run at Chris Simms for next year....That's how great Tony Romo is.
Posted by Brother Lee Love @ 11:21 AM Fri, Dec 29, 2006
If Romo wouldn't have given his number out to every young lady within a 200 mile radius this might not have happened. I think the Cowboys need a quarterback who can focus on the game, not one focused on his game.

E A G L E S EAGLES!!!
HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR XMAS PRESENT

Yeah, I wonder if that Romo jersey was as good a gift as the victory and the playoff spot that the CowGirls gave our Eagles...?
Posted by RickyMan @ 2:26 PM Fri, Dec 29, 2006
Please tell me you bought your kid a replica jersey and not an authentic one. I mean Romo started well, but let's wait a FULL season to see what he can do. He played 4 decent games (1/4 of a season).

How Bout Dem Cowgirls. Yea its great beating the cowbirls twice. Id keep the receipt on that ROMO jersey he has been garbage the last 4 games. with a qb rating in the 60's. Now we are on the verge of our 5th NFC east title in 6 years ah its grat

Wow! You Eagles fans are proving what I said in the first post - bottom feeders. It's none of your business whose jersey I give my son. And as long as it isn't an Eaglettes jersey, he can wear whatever he'd like.
Posted by j @ 6:54 PM Fri, Dec 29, 2006
scoreboard. eagles 2, boys 0. numbers don't lie.
Posted by E-A-G-L-E-S @ 6:56 PM Fri, Dec 29, 2006
Eaglettes?? Take you all day to come up with that one? Tony Romo is just another flash in the pan. He's already starting to remind me of Quincy Carter. You people had Romo inducted into Canton after his first start. I'm just glad he's finally being exposed for what he really is.
GO BIRDS!!

Hey Iggles Fans --
While you're here, how's our old nemesis Harold Carmichael doin' these days? He sure was a great competitor, a fun guy to try to beat and a good person.

In 2 years no one is gonna be talking about Romo anymore after the way this season is ending for the cowgirls. In the meantime I can't wait for his new number to be posted...

How much of a loser do you have to be to be an eagles fan and post on a COWBOYS blog? On another note T.O. was a mistake and a costly one. What is his ratio of catches vs drops. Do we really need a PLAYER who tears the organization down from the inside out? I say shut your mouth and just play the game.

"Can I ask a question, serious question...can Romo be Brady II? I think he can, he's smart enough, has the tools, so why not let him?" Theres one big difference - Brady wins games. Romo can't even beat a 2-13 team with the division title on the line.

"scoreboard. eagles 2, boys 0. numbers don't lie." "Now we are on the verge of our 5th NFC east title in 6 years" While we're doing the scoreboard thing, how may Super Bowls have the birds won? Match.

How can you even begin to compare Romo to Brady? And how can Brady, arguably the best QB in the league, miss the pro bowl, and Romo makes it? It's a sign the apocalypse is near, I tell ya.

"While we're doing the scoreboard thing, how may Super Bowls have the birds won?"
The birds have won as many as the 'boys have in the life of this twerp, i wager.
No faith in the present, has to relive the past.
Enjoy the offseason, maybe you can trade up for Quinn.

Brady wouldn't fumble the field goal snap when a wildcard playoff game is on the line. And I don't understand how Romo made the pro-bowl and Brady didn't. I'm not even a Patriots fan and I still see something wrong with that.

How about this the eagles are going to be murdered by the Saints and the agles will suffer with Mcnabb for another 4 years before they realize Garcia would of been the way to go. Cowboys will be the team to beat next year

tony is my second cousin

I believe Tony can make up for his mistakes next year. Like the saying goes, the third time is a charm. Tony, I think you have the ability to do more and do not listen to whatever the media is saying about you and Jes.
