The Mosley Afternoon Report holiday style

Bill Parcells rolled out his everyone-else-sucks-too speech today to pump life into his team's fading playoff hopes. He didn't want to talk about the fact that Terence Newman was calling out his teammates in the locker room this morning.

Everyone's able to ignore T.O.'s antics when the team's winning, but it's not easy to do after losses. Parcells didn't single out T.O. on Wednesday and said that he doesn't put much stock into what players say immediately following games.

T.O. did not make his usual Wednesday appearance.

Parcells did say it was hard to get everyone involved because of the limited amount of plays the offense had in the first half.

Please continue reading for more news you may or may not be able to use:

Asked if the locker room has been fractured, Parcells quickly said, "No, absolutely not! That's the last thing I'm worried about."...

When a reporter asked about Terry Glenn's post-game comments in which he said the team wasn't trying to win, Parcells came back with, "I know Terry Glenn a lot better than you. OK, we'll just leave it at that."...

At times, Parcells started asking questions.

"You know who's going to win this NFC Championship?" No one knows what's going to happen here...I'm not ready to put the flowers in the hearses just yet."...

Parcells said the entire team had to play better, but then he stopped himself. He said Jason Ferguson had nine tackles against the Eagles...

Parcells said he had a conversation with Tony Romo on Wednesday but refused to provide details.

"It was a personal conversation," he said...

Jay Ratliff (shoulder) did not practice this afternoon, but Parcells thinks he may be ready to do something by tomorrow or Friday. Jacques Reeves (elbow) was able to participate in practice and should be ready for Detroit...

Safety Pat Watkins played too "cautiously" early in the game, according to Parcells...

Parcells said his familiarity with all the contenders in the NFC is another thing that gives him hope. The fact that the Cowboys have played Seattle twice in the preseason and once in the regular-season over the past two years works to their advantage, according to Bill...

have a prosperous afternoon,

Personal advice for Romo sounds like he is telling him 'hands off' Underwood! Nothing like dating advice from Bill.

Tell Jerry after Dallas loses at Seattle that Cowboy fans really want NATE CLEMENTS of the Bills. If we can get a premier DB in FA it would be a step in the right direction.

I doubt that happens though because Parcells has been horrible in signing free agents and drafting players.

How about that Julius Jones and Spears for Steven Jackson trade now? Ugh. Carpenter? Roy? Burnett? Petermen? Rogers? Henry? Fasano?

This team is not as talented as they think they are. The results show.

Unless they come out every game ready to play, they get whupped.

Ready to play means angry and focused. Smiling and chatting with Carrie Underwood does not cut it. Playing dominoes with the homies on the other team does not cut it.

Gladiators did not chit chat with chicks 1 before a death match. This is mindset needed for a so-so talented team.

MR. Mosley, please explain where the "holiday style" is in this report???

Posted by Eric @ 5:11 PM Wed, Dec 27, 2006

Bill probably told Romo to just get it over with and go on "The Bachelor!" This Underwood stuff is extremely annoying.

crazy e-man, Mosely was wearing a Santa cap and a red thong when he wrote the piece. Not a pretty mental picture!

Funny how a man who supposely take responsibilty for Monday is blaming on you and the Media? Wake up!! He's a Con man

Parcells, in reference to Romo's personal conversation, was eluding to "surrender the pink" scenario which happens when Cowboy QB meets blonde CW Singer.

As for T.O. Dude, I was really kinda on your side when the Media was constantly on your butt, for every move you made etc. I was defending you saying "just leave the guy alone" But now? Man shut up and play. You are truly hurting this team. Blatantly dropping passes on purpose, or not putting forth the extra effort. You deserve everything your getting. GROW UP!

For Romo and Carrie Underwood, way to go Tony!!!!
