At least that's what I gathered after reading this release from the NFL Network: Sunday's New Orleans Saints/Dallas Cowboys game re-airs Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET on NFL Network's new series, NFL Replay. Fans across the country will see the Drew Brees and the Saints victory over the Cowboys in Dallas, 48-20.
NFL Replay airs NFL game broadcasts from the previous weekend, complete with original television announcers and cameras just days after their live airing.
In order to give the games context, NFL Network will add sideline and on-field sound captured during the game and post-game press conference sound bites.
Other enhancements will include exclusive shots and camera angles from NFL Films, allowing fans an inside look at game action they did not see on Sunday. This will give fans a deeper understanding of the game, the players and the coaches.
This marks the first-time in the 86-year history of the NFL that games from the NFL regular-season or playoffs are shown outside their live window.
During the 2006 season, NFL Replay will feature four of the most exciting games from the weekend, re-airing exclusively on NFL Network Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Two contests will be shown each Tuesday and Wednesday night with 8:00 PM ET and 10:30 PM ET kickoff times.
NFL Replay games will air in a 90-minute fast-paced format, without halftime and other elements not critical to the outcome.

I thought they only showed good games. A blow out is not a good game, dont care which side of the ball you are on.

The NFL and the national media are just tickled pink that they can bash the Cowboys again. You can see how much it pained them to talk about us in terms of "Super Bowl" and "home field".

Could they edit out any part that has Roy Williams please?

The NFL Network will really air the Dallas/Saints game?...So they have changed their format to show blowouts not instead of exciting games?...That should really stir negative interests...

I think they're replaying ALL Cowboys games because of the team's huge fan base. Indeed, I thought they were replaying all games, period, since I've gotten the Cowboys replays every week via my TiVo.
They also have this interesting thing they do where they show the entire game, minus huddles, stoppages, etc. in a 30 minute time frame, complete with clipped commentary from the network announcers. It's rather odd, frankly, but probably a good thing for those without NFL Sunday Ticket.
