With three minutes left in the game, Eli Manning was trying to bring his Giants back. Manning, down 29-22, was hit on a pass attempt. With the ball in the air, Giants running back Tiki Barber should have tried to catch the ball instead of trying to knock it down. Barber misplayed the ball and Trent Cole intercepted it and took it to the house for a 36-22 final. Bad way to end the game. Anyway, Jeff Garcia is 3-1 as a starter. He was asked by NBC about that Christmas Day game against the Cowboys being him vs. Terrell Owens, his former teammate in San Francisco. "It's not about Owens," Garcia said. "It's about Dallas and the Eagles. It's a big game." |

The Cowboys wrote the script and every team followed it.
Now they just need to take care of business and hope for one more New Orleans loss.
I had wondered if NO would have a hangover after Dallas. Lesson: don't play your Superbowl in early December...

Its a game the 'Boys' need to win, otherwise there will be no deep in January.

If the Giants win at home against the Saints (which is very possible) and the Cowboys beat the Eagles, than the Cowboys are the number 2 seed and get a first round bye. Sounds almost to good to be true after last Sunday but I will take it.

I'm just hoping the Cowboys can cover the Eagles' fullback.

Garcia might be right that this game is about Dallas vs. the Eagles, but don't tell ESPN, that will just get in the way of a good Owens-Garcia over-hyping. Sweet, I can't wait!

Funny comment about playing your SB in the regular season ...
Giants and Eagles in October also played their Super Bowl v Cowboys.
Eagels, Giants and NO played their absolute best games of the season versus the Cowboys.
I also don't expect BP to lose a second game to an opponent. So Eagles lose and Cowboys win division.

On the interception by Cole, because the ball was tipped, Barber should have just blasted Cole. There would have been no interference on the play and cole wouldn't have been able to catch it. Even if the refs tried to call interference, it would be a penalty worth taking considering it would have only been half the distance to the goal and the Eagles likely would have declined the penalty. Dumb play by Tiki. He should think about retirement.
