Just talked to the NFL and the league is looking into the spitting incident involving Terrell Owens and DeAngelo Hall from Saturday night.
Expect a fine. Maybe $10,000 or more.

Giants just kicked a field goal of 23 yards and Big Blue trails the Eagles, 14-13.

I heard that Hall wants T.O. suspended. Is their any chance of a suspension, or will it just be a fine?

What a disappointment to hear about that after a great game. $15,000 - $19,000 seems like a reasonable fine for low-brow behavior like that. A one-game suspension would be understandable, though more than I would expect on the scale of things.

I ain't no economist, but based on economies of scale $10,000 to Owens equals about $0.01 to normal people.

If the NFL is going to fine T.O. they should also fine Hall, who was constantly jawing at T.O. the whole game. Hall was flagged a couple of times for fowling T.O. You can't expect to open your mouth an jaw at someone all night without paying the consequences. I think he was lucky that was all that T.O. did to him.
