This is the 10th anniversary of the Cowboys last playoff victory against Minnesota in 1996. The Cowboys beat the Vikings, 40-15, at Texas Stadium in the wild-card round then lost a week later at Carolina. So much has changed since then. What are the odds the Cowboys win their first playoff game in 10 years a couple of weeks from now? Thoughts? |

With TO: 10-1 against
Bench him: 2-1 in favor

I know Cowboy fans are ready to slit their collective wrists but I think Dallas can do it. The boys will probably be playing Seattle who has lost three in a row including to the Cardinals, and 49ers. Are they rolling into the playoffs either?
Its funny how the enthusiasm changes from every win to loss.

The Cowboys will not only win their first playoff game but will be headed to New Orleans for the championship. They will destroy Seattle then knock off Chicago at Soldier Field. I'm not saying Super Bowl just yet. New Orleans will be tough at home as the Eagles will find out.

I've had my expectations lowered each week this month. I don't see any reason to raise them now. For next year though...without T.O...the sky's the limit! GO COWBOYS

I think the Cowboys will play a tough game against Seattle. They always do, and they seem to be just as good on the road these days. If we can limit TO from dropping more than 2 passes in big spots, I say we win by 7!

10 year anniversary? Will there be cake at Texas Stadium to celebrate?

The odds of this team winning --on the road (presumably in Seattle), against one of the NFL's preeminent offensive game planners in Mike Holmgren -- are 20 to 1. The Cowboys are a lousy football team, and their coaching staff is clueless.

Lousy? In the last 10 years we've seen lousy up close and know it intimately. This team is not "lousy." Rather, they are just good enough to make them incredibly frustrating.

Sorry, StB. No cake. They're saving it for the twentieth anniversary of the Cowgirls last playoff victory.

It all depends on the attitudes of the big uglies (both sides of the ball). If they decide to play smart aggressive ball, then we win in Seattle. Anything past this is unpredictable with the re-seeding and Cybil like play of the Cowboys.

Yes, NSF, this team is lousy. They are just good enough to beat the horrible teams, but they're not close to being good enough to beat the good teams. With the exception of Indy (a good, not a great team), this soft team hasn't won a "statement" game under Parcells. Look at the evidence. That qualifies as lousy.

HEY GUYS, IF HOUSTON CAN BEAT INDY AND DETROIT CAN ALMOST BEAT THE BEARS, WHO SAYS ATLANTA CANNOT BEAT THE EAGLES SUNDAY. I HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IMPROBABLE BUT POSSIBLE RESULT, DELIVERING THE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TO THE COWBOYS, WOULD TOTALLY RE-ENERGIZE THIS TEAM. CHRISTMAS MAY STILL COME IN OUR FOOTBALL WORLD.

Poor Phillyfan. How long since that last Eagles Super Bowl win now?
Hoping for a win, but in reality expecting The Bill Parcells era to end after a wildcard game embarrassment.

Why do so many Philly fans post here? Go eat some soup with Mrs McNabb. Having no joy (read: hardware) of their own, they wallow in the misery of others.

I can the see all the folks still fighting the Civil War are out in force hating Bill Parcells.

I suppose, Will, that it is a bit sadistic of me to wallow in your misery. After all, without a good football team, what else do you have other than mesquite and cactus?
