Man, are you all over the blog today, Matt. How many entries have you made? A wealth of information. This Dallas Cowboys organization and all of its fans needed a reality check, and leave it to Coach Payton to give it to us. We have a lot of work to do before the playoffs. Will it be possible to take this negative and make it into something positive?

A whole plethora of information today. The evil pay wall has been torn down. Oh happy days!

Posted by Blake @ 5:02 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

that means the Dallas Morning News has thrown in the towel on the Cowboy's season

December 11, 2006 will be a day that will live in history. The pay wall has come down. People will ask where were you on this day when you found out. Pieces of the wall will be sold on EBay.

It's only fair now that the DMN isn't available statewide in print.

Thank God. I live in Ohio and hated it when DMN started putting all the Cowboys stories behind the paywall. Put in more ads if you need to, just keep it free!

Christmas comes early to Cowboy fans!!!!!!

Now that dallascowboys.com has gotten it's act together, I'm not sure how cowboysplus.com could be a pay site anymore. Actually, I never understood who was paying for access in the first place.

I can't remember the last time that they had an article on there I would have paid to read or information that I couldn't find somewhere else for free.

I guess the big wig columnists weren't too happy that Mosley was getting all the Internet love. Mosley 4 President!

Free At Last! Free At Last! Thank God it's Free At Last!

The Ticket is a waste of protoplasm. They have no class, and to acknowledge their existence doesn't say to much about you.

Posted by Chris @ 8:10 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

Matt, you need a MNF blog so that we can come down. By the way, why are they still letting Joe Theeeeesman talk? I thought they were going to kill his mike and not tell him. Oh well, Heavy Drinking !!!

Posted by Kerry @ 8:40 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

Man, do I feel really stupid for actually signing up and paying for it a few weeks ago. Nice timing on my part.

So do we few die-hards who get annual subscriptions get a 25% kickback?

Posted by ernest t bass @ 8:58 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

Mr. Frank Luksa alone was worth the price of admission and remains our last link to those insider band of scribes whose first waking breaths each day were a pull from a Marlboro and highballs pondered before noon. And the dames. Don't forget the dames.

The Ticket is greatness Maverick second only to the Mattster.

Posted by Kerry @ 10:45 PM Mon, Dec 11, 2006

Jeffrey, we get 3 months added to our subscriptions. Go to the FAQ in the Member Center for the explanation. You have other options as well.

Wow, someone actually thought about the readers for a change?

Posted by Bigfan @ 8:29 AM Tue, Dec 12, 2006

Who pays for stuff that is free other places anyway?

Following google's business model only makes sense:
Give content away for free & monetize the eyeball counts. Every1 on the staff gets stock shares & become rich.

As the great Homer Simpson would say..."WOOHOO!"

Thank you DMN!!!!

Posted by Creth Davis @ 9:23 AM Tue, Dec 12, 2006

thank you! been waiting years for this day... now I can waste time at work, and not pay for it!!!

p.s. if it hasn't already been pointed out, five thousand times... changing the image at the "top" may have been the very thing that Bill Simmons was talking about, like washing your lucky jersey....

I am really suprised that we got out "game-planned" by Payton.

The obvious did not happen. The Saints are "the" passing team in the NFL and as Buddy Ryan would have said..."Take away their strength, and make them weak."

We should have played a "nickel or dime" package all day long with either Glenn or Newman on Bush and made them try to just run the ball.

Hope next time we see them is in the playoffs and we don't let them pass all day long again.
