Does being tough on players limit their ability? How many were considered not good enough here, but played well at other stops when somebody built their confidence? Does this explain why he does not get the most from his players?

Um no. The last time Parcells showed any kind of fire was in 1999. I'd love to see a 1983 version of Parcells get a hold of T.O. Now that would be funny.
