Chargers defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is one of the names getting thrown out a lot to replace Parcells. Phillips runs the 3-4, has a personality that would mesh well with Jerry's and has head coaching experience (48-39, 0-3 in playoffs). His daddy, ex-Oilers and Saints coach Bum Phillips, doesn't think the Cowboys could make a better hire. "I think he'd be an outstanding choice," said Bum, reached on his ranch in Goliad, Texas. Bum said his boy has only interviewed for one head coaching job (Green Bay last year) since winning two of three games as Atlanta's interim coach in 2003. "I don't understand why," Bum said. "Here's a guy that clearly can be a head coach. He's been successful." |

As a lifetime Cowboys fan and a Colorado resident (Wade Phillips coached the Broncos) for a short time, PLEASE DO NOT HIRE WADE PHILLIPS!! He had a poor relationship with players and had no backbone in the tough situations. T.O. will eat him alive.

I'm free, I can be there next week, I only want a one year contract and I want Bill Cowher as my defensive coordinator (and I want him signed to ten years)..

How about the same man that followed Parcells in NE? If Jerry is going to make a run for an already entrenched head coach, why not go for arguably the best? Bill Belichick....

Bill Parcells lost his fire for the Game and the Cowboys has to move on. We are faced with a hard choice to make but the cowboys are a team with energy and needs a high energy Coach. A coach that has the temas best interest @ Heart and has
the energy, excitement that the Cowboys has always
represented. This is America'S #1 TEAM AND IT IS TIME FOR US TO PLAT LIKE WE ARE WITH A COACH THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE THE COWBOYS AGAIN BE THE CALIBER TEAM THAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOWN THROUGH THE YEARS. i HATE TO SEE PARCELLS GO BUT THANKS FOR THE TIME YOU SPENT IN DALLAS, NOW LET'S GET TO THE PURPOSE AND START WINNING GAMES AND GET BACK TO CONTENDING FOR THE SUPERBOWL! Terrell Ownens is not the reason Bill Parcells left. Even thought Terrell Owens dropped a lot of ball , he also caught a lot of balls. T. O. is a great player and need to be utilized to his full potential. He was a lot calmer in Dallas than in anyother place he has been in. Stop the madnesss and let's get the Cowboys back on track. Get a Coach that wants the Job and hold him accountable.

I would prefer they win, I know they can win. Let's also get a Quarterback. Tony Romano is not the caliber of quarterback that the Dallas Cowboys need. We need a experienced settled down Quarterback.

first i want to say the doubters dont have a clue how football works.my dad played for bum phillips and i remember as a kid going to the practice fields and as an adult visiting him at home.we all know that bum was and still is the shiznit.wade used to counsel me when i had any questions about the game when he was in denver.guess what you guys wade is in dallas and you cant do shiznit about that,stick with YOUR team and watch wade phillips handle his business in dallas.I LOVE YOU BUM AND WADE PHILLIPS.
