The first surgery apparently didn't correct the problem with Terrell Owens' finger.

Probably stuck his finger up his nose and a booger bit it off!

Ah, the poor baby. Anyone at all surprised that he'll miss a training camp? Was there really any need at all to bring him to the team? How many quality, HARD WORKING players could we have gotten with the money he was paid? Maybe a holder for the kicker?

T O obviously tuffed it out thru a serious injury this year.

Thanks, Mr Owens

Just have them transplant Michael Vick's middle finger to replace TO's busted finger...solve two problems at once.

Cut him and lets sign an OG and Nate Clements or Samuel.

Hey JoAnn do you really think this team would have averaged almost a touchdown more per game without him. You want a more hard working guy. How about playing two weeks after hand surgery with a metal plate all year and then the last half of the year with a finger injury that has now caused two surgeries. Yeah maybe we can find someone who strikes that kind of fear in a defense on the street. Or maybe we can focus on how to keep the other team from having 500 yards of offense and maybe have someone not named DeMarcus Ware get a sack. Just because ESPN and all the newspapers make the guy out to be a bad guy doesn't mean he actually is. Did anyone here want the Cowboys to release Irvin when he was stabbing other teammates or snorting lines of coke with hookers. But if a guy gets in an argument with a coach about not being involved he's the devil.

C'mon guys - TO's a warrior - he told us so. He probably doesn't even have anaesthetic for the op. He's just not talking about it yet because his new publicist hasn't decide how best to release such dramatic news. Maybe a new book is on the way "Little T learns to bite the bullet"

I agree that TO played hurt this year and that is admirable, but the guy just creates too many problems and drops way too many passes to justify his salary.

Sounds like the perfect excuse for Jones to send the circus packing. T.O. a warrior, nope. A pass dropping, basket case yes. He was better off getting the surgery done earlier in the season. Now he will once again miss mini-camp. He apparently needs the practice catching.

T.O. plays hard and hurt all season long, and all he hears about is how many passes he dropped in 2006!

Posted by Jesse @ 7:00 AM Thu, Jan 18, 2007

Hey Steven, Romo is the reason the offense averaged more points, not Owens. If he would have caught half the passes he dropped, they would have averaged even more points. He lost more games for us than he won. He is not worth the money they are paying him and I don't think he strikes fear into anyone anymore.

It all comes down to this. I'd rather have T.O on my team then NOT have him. Steven is right. It seems "chic" to rag on T.O. Who are you going to replace him with? Moss? Peerlice Price? Get over it. I hope he comes back. He will have a season under Romo, and he'll be better. YOu T.O bashers could always root for the Texans!

With Bledsoe as the starter the offense scored:
17, 27, 45 , 24 and 34 points.
Clearly the offense DID NOT avg more points with Romo

Great comment Blake! I get tired of these guys that know nothing making comments about TO. This guy gets criticized for anything and everything. If TO had made the mistake Glenn made on the goal line we would not even be hearing about Romo's mistake. It would have all been TO's fault.
