Andre Gurode's six-year, $30 million deal that included a $10 million signing bonus seems to have helped inch the New York Giants along in their talks with center Shaun O'Hara, who would have been the top center available on the open market.

Once O'Hara gets done, then the Cowboys' Al Johnson moves up the ladder in terms of best centers available.
