Romo wins

Tony Romo must be having some fun in Hawaii.

The Cowboys quarterback won nthe quarterback portion of the Pro Bowl Skills Challenge, edging out Cincinnati's Carson Palmer, New Orleans' Drew Brees and St. Louis' Marc Bulger.

The competition had quarterbacks throwing at stationary targets from different distances and on the run. Romo's golf game must have come in handy, I'd guess.

The competition will be shown during halftime of Pro Bowl and after the game on NFL Network.

I'm guessing that FG holding was not part of this challenge? ;)

Can we have the less skilled Carson Palmer? I heard he doesn't drop holds.

Actually, Bob, I'd prefer Tony Romo. I heard he doesn't blow his ACL during playoff games.

As long as we're dragging up the QBs' worst playoff moments for the sake of lame humor and all...

The hold wasn't nearly as bad as his poor performance in December, which is ultimately what put us in Seattle in the first place.

Well I guess if football becomes a game of hitting stationary targets with no defenders, then Tony will bring us to the promise land.

I agree with 'John Nice Guy', let's "hold" onto Romo for a while longer. I was truly curious as to how Romo would do in the competition, believe it or not this was a very good test to see how and if he'd recovered from the "Seattle Incident". I'd say he certainly has beating the more established QBs in the field. Very good sign for sure.

I think the defense was more to blame than Romo for the December colapse of the Cowboys.

Thanks for revealing the outcome.

ROMO IS THE MAN NEXT YEAR WE GO ALL THE WAY
IF NOT WE WILL BEAT THE EAGLES.

I think I'd still rather have Carson with his arm strength. Can't blame the guy for having his knee crushed by a defensive linemen while he stands in the pocket and completes a ridiculous downfield throw.

I agree with Eric. I am not saying that Tony and the offense struggled in December but if the defense had done their job and Parcells had not tried to dummy down the offense in the Seattle game, we would have been playing in Chicago the next week and we will never know how things could have turned out. Give Tony a break, there are not many QB's that could have handled the situation better than he did this past year.

i think terry glenn should take more of the blame for the loss in seattle
