The former Cowboys defensive coordinator, now the head coach at North Carolina, is undergoing chemotherapy after a dentist removed a cancerous growth from Davis' mouth. "We're going to get through this and we're going to have a great season next fall," said the 55-year-old Davis. |

I was shocked reading about this yesterday. As a lifelong Cowboy fan coupled with the fact that I have lived in North Carolina all my life I was very happy Butch got the Carolina job. I certainly hope that Butch knows that he has a lot of people pulling for him.

All the best Butch! Still 1 of the best coordinators we ever had. That crew that Jimmy brought in was tremendous.
