The ESPN newbie who penned the '75 Cowboys portion of their best-draft-classes-ever deal offered this (weak) explanation for not including the '64 Cowboys. "I was only allowed to choose one Cowboys draft class -- and Bob Breunig lives in Lake Highlands. Oh, and The Manster (Randy White for the under-30 crowd) offered to take me fishing. Please send my love to the greatest group of readers I've ever encountered." |

ESPN newbies, at least one of them, he knows who he is, have substandard senses of humor, and barely an ability to write.

Matt Mosley is the man. It's good to "hear" from him again on this blog. :-)

Stop hatin' on Matt Mosley, ex "Blog Boy."
I'm shocked not one of the early 1990's drafts did not make the cut. Heck, we won 3 of 4 Super Bowls and one of those draft classes had to be worthy of selection.

Glad to know Matt is a homer, even to the point of neighborhoods.
And to back up his argument, I'm not sure how you can't love the fact that 12 people from one draft made it, and most all still have some sort of name recognition, 30+ years down the line. Maybe not all Hall-of-Famers, but most all important in their roles.

If the truth be known, this reporter is probably just another clandestine cowboy hater!

Good to know Phil is still an idiot. We miss you Matt!

Does this prove a Cowboys bias since two Steelers drafts were allowed?

Matt, how could you have abandoned us? Your short response was enough to make me pine for the good old days and fear what lies ahead in our football season future. Phil, go post on the Redskins blog. Come back, Matt!!
