I can't see Isaiah Stanback as a quarterback prospect, but we've been wrong before. This guy will be a receiver, in my mind. He was brought in for a pre-draft visit by the Cowboys partly because of the foot injury that knocked him out of all but six games last year. With guys like Drew Bennett, Matt Jones, Antwaan Randle El and even Patrick Crayton making successful switches from college quarterback to receiver, the Cowboys are hoping Stanback can be the same guy. And just found another reason why the Cowboys liked him, he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles last year, too. |

WR/slot guy - not a QB. And to suggest he'd be an "emergency" QB in the NFL is to suggest I could be an "emergency" heart surgeon because I took CPR in summer school.
A curious "utility man" pick in the third round.

Another errant spelling of the name Isaiah. Let's hope he's as talented as the basketball prodigy from equally poor spelling parents.
