Romo's off-field hobbies could be worse

Some of you folks questioned whether Tony Romo's passion for golf would get in the way of his development as a quarterback.

Falcons fans would love if their QB filled his free time on the golf course. Considering that Mike Vick's off-field issues are the biggest story in the NFL right now, Cowboys fans ought to consider themselves lucky.

What's wrong with having even two careers?!?!? Bo Jackson and Dieon had them. Basically, if you have multiple talents, then one should use them. Haven't you guys heard of "multi-tasking"??? Geezz

My dog still has his paws over his ears when I played that u-tube clip of him "singing" that journey tune in front of a bunch of 20 something's. Let's hope his throwing arm is a little more in tune.

At least he's not spending the off season as a pimp like this Pittsburgh Stealer.

Leave him alone. He was this way when we found him, he'll be this way when he leaves us. I didn't see Cleveland (or anyone else for that matter) bat an eyelash when their #1 choice went fishing during the draft. Everyone seems to forget it was our guy that brought the NFC back in the ProBowl. How about some credit for that. He never gets mentioned for contributing anything there. Like that was a fluke.
Tony Romo knows how to move a football team.

Mike Vick is a great athlete and a so so QB

Golf he can do...it's Carrie Underwood that worries me...his end of season slump corresponded with his new love interest...

You need a lot of mental concentration to be a good golfer. Plus, you need to forget about bad holes and shots and focus on the next one - to me, those are good skills for a pro quarterbacks. Beats the heck out of playing PS3 and generally goofing off like other QBs.
