Calvin Hill was hired basically to clean up the Cowboys' image after the wild and crazy White House years. If you track police blotters, you know Hill has accomplished that goal. The Chicago Tribune's Steve Rosenbloom provides further evidence. He includes two teams in a wisecrack about ex-Bears DT Tank Johnson's next stop (perhaps after prison) and doesn't mention the Cowboys. Some team will take a chance on him, maybe not today, but near the end of the season or in January. The Raiders come to mind (and I guess it's time for the cheap Bengals joke), but teams have shown they'll suffer a lot of indignity if it might mean winning. After all, wasn't that the Bears' situation with Johnson last year? |

It's a thankless job. But thanks, Calvin for doing it so well
