McNabb on the mend

Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb returned to the practice field Monday, weeks ahead of schedule.

Perhaps Philadelphia's decision to draft Kevin Kolb in the second round had something to do with McNabb's speedy recovery from knee surgery.

HAHAHA...you think so?
McNabb is sure to follow suit of the Keyshawn saga and write his own book:
"Let ME throw the ### ball!"

This is a Cowboys BLOG who cares about McNabb??? When or IF he ever gets back out and plays we will introduce him to the new Phillips 3-4 and then you should report how he is feeling. Not now.

Mike G is absolutely correct,I don't care if McNabb ever comes back, the city he plays for is a complete hole. Philly's classless fans are the league's worst.

Kolb isn't all that. He was a system QB at Cougar High.

Saw a clip of his workout on the WWL and he was taking it very easy. I think he's making the same mistake Culpepper did last year, trying to come back too soon, maybe because of this new rookie. I don't wish for anyone to get hurt, and I think he's totally approaching this the wrong way.

You guys need to chill. It's the offseason and there's not that much football news period and besides, anything going on in the Cowboys division should be of interest to you.

The Eagles know, McNabb knows, and so does Kolb, that McNabb aside, there is no way the eagles start a rookie QB this year, so I dont think McNabbs recovery cycle is being influenced by Kolb's presense. The Eagles would bring in another vet if they had to.

As classless as Philly fans are, if I were one of them, I'd want Eagles managment to be deported. This is clearly an organization that has limited interest in winning. Sure, they want to put a decent team out there so that the fans stay interested, but when it comes to locking up most of their players, they pass. Then they trade with a division rival to get out of the first round? You can bet that it was mostly to save money. Pathetic. Cowboys fans should be glad that their owner wants to win, even if he hasn't figured out a way to do it for a while.

You know guys, there is not a bigger cowboy fan on the planet than yours truly but I think all this downplay of the Eagles is just wishful thinking. Compare what they have done the past 10 years to what the boys have done. For instance, who won the division last year? I'm sorry, but the Eagle management is not that sorry, as is demonstrated by their success the past 10 years compared to our own boys. They get results, and results is the bottom line.

I'm still laughing about media comments that McNabb "returned to the practice field." As someone who has undergone the same surgery, the video of that practice shows he is clearly NOT ready to play. He may be back for WK1, but he will be lucky to be at 75% seeing that WK1 will be about 10 months from his surgery. If you're in a fantasy league, don't draft the guy this year!

There's a reason why the Eagles drafted Kolb...
