Around the NFC East

Eagles: QB Donovan McNabb looked awfully good in first game since tearing his ACL. But it's not all good news in Philly. Andy Reid swears it ain't so, but there are indications that stud guard Shawn Andrews' ankle injury could be a season-ender.

Giants: Plaxico Burress has been sitting since Aug. 2 with a bum ankle. Sinorice Moss might not play tomorrow because he's got a sprained ankle, too. And Amani Toomer is about to play for the first time since tearing his ACL. Other than that, the Giants' receiving corps is in great shape.

Redskins: Joe Gibbs sure would like to see his first-team offense score some points in a preseason game for a change.

Looks like the NFC East is in a bit of turmoil right now...except for the Cowboys.

Wow!! I sure hope all of you Romo backers are right,(but I dont think so), McNabb and company look a lot better than Dallas does right now. I know its preseason, but Dallas already is way behind.

I dont put a lot of stock in preseason but you have to admit that Romo looked crisp and sharp. He is showing confidence this year and I already see a difference with Romo from this year vs. last year. Dallas isnt that far behind like you say but lets see how Romo does against a good defense tonight.
