Tony Romo had an interesting ending to his speech after accepting the Cowboys' Offensive Player of the Year award today. He listed a whole bunch of people he wanted to thank, wrapping it up with "and my wife." I'm guessing that Romo was joking around, since he often snickers when he sees or hears reports of his romancing in tabloids. I've only heard him refer to songstress Carrie Underwood as "a girl I like," so it'd be major news if they got married. I'll let the tabloid reporters, who have delivered such Romo-Carrie scoops as a Thanksgiving wedding and a summer breakup, work their magic on this one. I'll start filing reports on Romo's romancing again after the season is over and I have nothing better to do. |

Keep it up, Tim! The Cowboys are a glamour team. Our QB should be dating a smokin' hot blonde celebrity, and I want to hear all about it. It can't be just Tom Brady having all the fun!

Don't tell her, but I understand that he has been seeing one of the other idol chicks on the side. But don't tell Carrie, I understand that she doesn't like guys cheating on her.

Inside sources is telling me she is holding out on any future plans untill his contract is renegotiated. Word got out to Romo so he's going after big money or he's losing his girl.

Otis, you must not be a married man, or spending too much time drunk in Sheriff Taylor's jail cell has gotten to you. Why in the world would he want to marry her? Why not just "be" with her for a while, because eventually she will start acting wifely, and it would be easier and cheaper to leave her without having to divorce her.
It worked well for Troy, so why not for Tony. He has a tradition to uphold.

Umm, drhorton - I think that you might have the money thing reveresed. Right now, Idol may have her record royalties, but before long, she will be pulling down significantly more coin than ole Tony.

He was photographed with the ex (the one that dumped him in October) Saturday night in Dallas.
She looked too excited by the photographer's attention. He's crazy.

Saw the photos. Hope Romo can play football because no more free headlines for him. His ex is cheap looking.Carrie must have been tired of him trying to hang on to her fame. Good for her. She can do better than a clumsy fameho like Tony Romo.
