Jerry has never worried that Wade Phillips was too soft or laidback, but he was happy to hear about the head coach hollering at some tardy players before practice the other day. "I am glad that it made enough noise so that our fans could see that this thing has to be run like a team," Jerry said after this morning's practice. "Like a big family, you can't have three of you leaving your clothes in the wrong drawer or wrong closet. It gets mass confusion. Somebody's got to keep order, and he does a great job." If you got a little lost during that laundry metaphor, join the club. But the point is that Jerry is confident that Phillips will keep his players in line while treating them like men. The fact that Phillips doesn't holler much might just make his message get through a little better when he does raise his voice. "There's something to be said for that," Jerry said. "There really is." |

The Real Concern:
Should be that T.O. was 1 of 3 guys who addressed the Team after his Team-mates lateness,strange cause he's the Last 1 on the practice field every day.I guess with our 18 millon reasons why he is here we would have not included that also.He has been here for about 10 mins, jury still out on him being the face/voice of our Team/Brand..ask the 49er's and Eagles for references..I feel some tightness in my back/wallet lets get the MRI before we move forward.

Philips is like the cat that just ate the canary, he likes the taste of the Cowboys, knows where he is with them, and will groom the hell out of the players to win. Only injuries to key players will cause a malfunction to his plan, not his so-called easy manner.

This is not a story. Football coaches yell. They often have different things that cause them to yell. Some yell more than others.
