Cowboys 45, Giants 35: New York took a whuppin' and a beatin' in Texas Stadium. DE Osi Umenyiora (knee), RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) and QB Eli Manning (shoulder) left the game and will be further evaluated today. ... Eli was awfully good until the Cowboys knocked him out of the game. ... The Giants' D was awfully bad all night.

Packers 16, Eagles 13: Classic headline in Philadelphia Inquirer: Muffin' Men. ... It's all Andy Reid's fault that the Eagles can't catch a punt. ... Lito Sheppard, the NFC East's best cornerback, sprained the MCL in his left knee. ... Donavan McNabb stunk up the joint.

Redskins 16, Dophins 13: "They drove it down our throat and scored," Miami DE Jason Taylor said of the Redskins' overtime drive. ... WR Antwan Randle El finally looked like a guy worth all that money Danny Snyder gave him. ... So far, so good for the Redskins' rebuilt defense. ... QB Jason Campbell was shaky against a good Dolphins D, but he played like a poised veteran with the game on the line. ... The Skins' running game looked really good despite losing RT Jon Jansen to a potentially season-ending ankle injury.

Cry Eagles cry
On the road to misery,
Sigh eagles sigh,
Blow the big game 1,2,3
Miss 'em low, loft 'em high
And watch the eagles die
Bye eagles bye,
Bridesmaids of the NFC

a bit surprised no one has highlighted the fact the Cowboys are on top in the NFC East. Div win beats skins' conf win in a tiebreaker. let's hope they don't give it away.

PLAY TO WIN
