Is it considered socially unacceptable to use annointing oil on yourself?

Posted by Rodney in Nashville @ 5:07 PM Wed, Sep 12, 2007

Should it be virgin or extra virgin?

It is only one game... but I like what I saw from Tony Romo last week. Hopefully he can do something similar this week against the Dolphins.

Who saw Alex Smith and Matt Leinart play monday night ? see the difference with Romo.. Romo might not have the Farve gun... but he's got Zip.. and even his INT was a good decision it was just out smarted.. He made only 1 bad throw attempt. and that was the Quick hit to T.O. that was super covered.. Great Job Romo..

I have no proof of this, but I told my brothers before they got Bledsoe that the Cowboys had their starting QB in Tony Romo. I made this statement after waching hom in preason appearances. He reminded me of Bret Favre even then as he does now. He has the canning ability to slid and make the ugly throw for completion. Did you notice the throw behind the rusher against the Giants, you can't teach that. Break out the annointing oil, he's for real.

Well JJ just lost a few MIL and counting...
Smart to pass on Brady Q, smart to bet the offense
on Romo, STUPID of him not to sign Tony in the
off-season. Love ya, Tony, keep firing. Congrats.
You outduel ELI ? You're worth ELI $$$$...
JJ's got tons of credit cards.

Um, Jerry sign Romo this month... Geez, you may have to him 8-10 million a year like Russell from Oakland!

Wake up people. He did this in week one against the Giants of all people. This won't last. Jerry won't have to pay him much at all if he even decides resigns him. Romo is not the answer, just wait and see.

Rodney, being of Italian heritage, trust me, it's got to be extra virgin, or, as my Sicillian buddy, Rachel Ray, would say, "EVOO".

"Out of 12 starts Romo has NFC player of the week 3 times. Koo!!!"

"Ya'll notice out of top 6 offenses this week, 3 of them are NFC East teams."

"Go Cowboys!!!"

Romo is for real...just needs to refine his mechanics a bit. Tends to throw sidearm (Favre-esque)on occasion which can lead to trouble if not careful. Quick release with good zip on short passes...nice soft touch on deep balls and maintains good vision of entire field. Does as a great job of looking-off the safety too. As the season progresses will only get better. Romo certainly provides a breath of fresh air at the QB position. Brings a ton of charisma, enthusiasm, confidence and leadership to the position that has been lacking for some time. His payday will come, but in the menatime as he has said...his play will define who he is and how he gets paid!

We annointed him last year. We're building the basilica this year.

Yeah Rob, we can only hope that he's as durable as Favre.
