I subconsciously referred to former Cowboys CB Isaac Holt in the previous post. Pretty easy to do, considering the first and last names of the Rams receivers. I’m going to ponder the deeper meaning of mentioning a guy who came to the Cowboys in the Herschel Walker deal while watching the Allen-Plano game. |

That reminded me of a small Isaac Holt story that still cracks me up on a regular basis.
I think it was during one of those NFL Films type shows, recapping a week/game in the 1992 season. The Cowboys were playing the Eagles, and at the time, Mark Macmillan was a CB for philly.
Mark was...let's see, not very big. I think he stood around 5'7 or somewhere around there.
Anyway, Holt was a bit of a talker, and at one point, the Cowboys were on offense, and he and the other defenders were watching from the bench area. The camera was on him, and he turns to it and in his classic, high pitched, trash talking voice says: "Hey! Go tell number 29 to get back on the Lucky Charms box!!"
I was rolling and still do to this day when I think about it.
