Rest assured that Brandon Jacobs' quote about the Giants coming to town to whup the Cowboys' [rear] is on Valley Ranch bulletin boards.

"We'll take care of him on Sunday," NT Jason Ferguson said. "He won't be talking much then."

Let's get fired up!

Posted by Bob @ 12:33 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

Talk is cheap. Let's see if they have the walk to back up the talk.

"We'll take care of him on Sunday," NT Jason Ferguson said. "He won't be talking much then."

You had better shut him up. There is nothing worse than an empty threat. And if I see our guys allow anymore of those "two point" poses from the Giants defense, I'll know something is missing from this team.

Now that's the kind of thing we Cowboys fans wanna year from Jason Ferguson, one of our leaders! Enough negativity from the so-called fans who think the sky is falling, you know who you are! It's good to know the players are as emotional about this game as the rest of us. If Jacobs wanted to get our attention, he accomplished that. There's gonna be some serious gang tackling going on when this loudmouth punk gets the ball. One Giant beat writer asked him if he was confident he could get the job done as a starter and Jacobs replied: "Just look at me." We'll see if he has the goods to get it done on the big stage in Big D. I don't know about the rest of you, but my money is on Roy, Bradie, and Demarcus "Every" Ware bringing the wood on Sunday night. Please shut this guy up along with Jeremy Shockey and the rest of the big talkers on the Giants. It's put up or shut up time.

I think the Furgy is the last guy you want to get mad.

All he has to do is turn on the "Beast" button and he will obliterate the entire Giants OL.

If Ferguson plays like he did in the preseason, I expect Jason to blow up some of those handoffs to Mr Jacobs.

Look, I am bit tipsy(girlfriend is out of town on a bizznessss trip, and I have a well deserved day off)but, here's hoping VY has a great season in Tennessee. Titans vs Cowboys in super bowl, of course our beloved Cowboys win 38-13.

Jacobs just committed a cardinal sin in football on any level, so hopeful our guys finally show some heart,(Bradie James especially) and take care of business on Sunday's nationally broadcast television.

I think Jacobs if probably another T. Hambrick, we'll see what happens, but I'm guessing the Giants will be drafting a RB in the first round next year.

Jason Ferguson AKA The Invisible Man is trash tallking..maybe the old man has alzheimer's and thinks he is on a REAL team...not one that got ran all over for THREE STRAIGHT QUARTERS

Posted by Jason @ 1:44 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

Brandon Jacobs("BJ") has no idea what kind of hornets nest he's stirred up this time. Maybe he should try to accomplish something in this league before he starts popping off at the lip! I hope this can be a statement type game for the Cowboys Defense with a national audience to prove that the loud mouth "G men" are nothing but trash talking "Girly men"!

Posted by rnargi @ 1:48 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

Of course he won't be saying much...he'll be too busy running wild over and through your defense to be saying anything.

Posted by Mike @ 1:53 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

Yeah Jason looked good in preseason. Good to hear a response, now if someone will put a mirror in front of Roy's face to see if he is, in fact, breathing we'll make some more progress.

Posted by scott @ 2:10 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

Paulov, what time are the strippers coming over?

Posted by Timothy @ 2:17 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

Brandon Jacobs running his mouth..........what has he accomplished in his career to talk?

This is the exact reason I cannot stand the Giants, Eagles and Redskins.

The NFC East used to be flat-out owned by Dallas, it's time to make it that way again!

Posted by Robt @ 2:21 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

GOOD STUFF.This ought to get the Cowboys Fired Up.I think ill feal sorry for the Giants.Wait, let me think about that for a second.NAH !!!

Posted by Jason @ 2:23 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

The only thing that "BJ" is running through on Sunday night is the emergency room after the Boys shove his trash-talking words up his(rear)!! Cowboy up!!!

Posted by Bill in DC @ 2:40 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

The idea that players will play harder based on what another player says before the game is kinda silly.

If you have to 'get mad' to play better there's something wrong with you. That and simply saying you're going to kick my butt is going to make me mad. Have to be pretty thin skinned to have that happen.

Maybe football players are different though. IO played NCAA Div I Lacrosse as a crease defenseman and don't recall even paying any attention to what other teams said either before or during a game. Seems like this is something more for the fans to me.

Posted by mattyinnj @ 4:09 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

Maybe Jacobs should concentrate on holding onto the ball around the goal-line given his prior experiences in Texas stadium.

Posted by gary m @ 4:21 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

this holds as much weight as the jacobs' comments...personally, i would rather him not say anything to the media...i think after jimmy johnson made the guarantee in 1993, nothing else really matters.

Posted by Gary @ 7:38 PM Thu, Sep 06, 2007

I love it. That's what the NFC east is all about. I think its cute that Gnats fans are here talking smack too. We'll see how Jacobs feels with his kneecaps facing the wrong way.
