Superstar columnist Jean-Jacques Taylor writes in this week's newsletter than Lancaster native Jacques Reeves has waited four years for this chance. With Aaron Glenn gone and Terence Newman gimpy, Reeves better prove he can be a solid NFL cornerback. If he does, Reeves will cash in when his contract expires at the end of the season. If he doesn't, the Cowboys are in trouble and he'll be fighting for a job in somebody's training camp next summer. |

I am happy for Reeves.. it's about time we see what these Corners ( Reeves and Jones ) can really do !! with having to sit cover and wait with Bill's 3-4 might not be as best for some as knowing the pressure is coming and to know get ready to break and go for the ball.. some are better with that.. I think this style will help Reeves.. Look at what San Diego had out there last year at 3rd or 4th CB

"That's an excellent question – one I asked myself a few years ago." JJT
Ok, I admit it, I've called JJT an idiot before. As recently as last week. I have thought he could be pig-headed and figured he had trouble with reading comprehension. I had it out with him on an e-mail exchange once because he did not grasp the nuances of the salary cap. I also slammed him for being a parrot of the Cowboy company line. He sometimes uses the expression Rooty-Poot or something odd like that. Besides all that, he is a major Ohio State Homer. But I have to give him some big time props for being honest when he didn't have to be. Very refreshing. He has earned one free bash pass from me. LOL.
