Eagles 23, Vikings 16: The most popular preseason NFC East favorite hopes to get back to .500 with a win this week over the Cowboys. ... Philly held rookie sensation Adrian Peterson to 3.5 yards per carry. ... The highlight of Donovan McNabb's 333-yard passing day was an unbelievable catch by WR Kevin Curtis.

Giants 13, Dolphins 10: QB Eli Manning was awful in the win, completing only 8 of 22 passes for 59 yards. Of course, the playing conditions on the muddy pitch at Wembley Stadium wasn't much help. ... RB Brandon Jacobs, on the other hand, was great. Jacobs rushed for 131 yards on 23 carries. ... It was an ugly win, but it was also the sixth in a row for the Giants.

Patriots 52, Redskins 7: Washington was "utterly embarrassed" by the butt kicking. ... The Redskins played almost the whole game without its starting CBs, and the results were predictable. Carlos Rogers' knee injury might be serious. ... Surprise, surprise. The visitors had headset problems against the Patriots.

Funny how the home headsets never go out at 5 Blades and a Comfort Strip Stadium. Blast those cheating Cheatriots!

With that "convincing" victory over the winless Dolphins, does anybody think Calvin Watkins will back off of his ridiculous prediction of the giants blowing out the 'Boys in two weeks.
