Terrell Owens knows it's silly to ignore the comparisons between he and fellow former malcontent Randy Moss, especially after he posted a certain open letter at his locker during Patriots week. And Moss knows, too, that playing dumb in this situation won't work. As such, the Patriots receiver addressed the comparison last night, after performing some kind of surgery on the Bill pass defense, and Owens talked about it today. "It’s kinda hard not to check it out, because obviously he’s on a (record) pace," Owens said. "They’re doing well there in New England and obviously he’s been a great addition to that team. Even if you don’t want to keep up with it, you tend to see what’s going on." Does it motivate him? "I’m sure he wants to be the best, I want to be the best," Owens said. "But it’s not really a competition with me and him." |

Alright, someone is likely to get hurt. Probably Tom Brady because Bellicek doesn't now when to pull him. I'm not positive but someone on the Patriots organization is highlight watching, otherwise they wouldn't have tried to squeeze 5 TDs to Moss, so yes it is a competition. One that T.O. probably does not know about. Also, let me say this. Do any of you remember the DL, that used to put QBs names and numbers on a towel and everytime he hurt one, he would put a check mark beside their name? I see this happening to Brady....possibly by a DL who has nothing to lose. Simply because teams are fed up with the in your face game style the Pats are playing. Mark my words, there is about a 75-80% chance that this will happen. What do you guys think??

Well... leaving Brady in while you're running up the score is kind of asking for it. Trouble is that his line is doing such an excellent job of protecting him that it doesn't seem to matter.
But maybe there'll be a "late hit" or two coming his way.

there both good but i pick t.o. but if someone pick moss or even harrison cool but if someone pick keyshawn u need 2 be tested.

Just be thankful we have one of the two on the team. Personally, i think T.O.'s style is more demoralizing to the other side, but they're both pretty dang hairy.

A better question might be: Would you trade T.O. for Moss, straight up? I say no, you don't.

Do y'all realize how silly all this "after the jump" business is? Especially for two more sentences? And what about those of us that follow the blog through an RSS reader? Can't you syndicate the whole feed? Or are you just trying to drive traffic to the site so you can charge advertisers more? If that's the case, you're wasting time because I'm sure most of us adblock your ads anyway...

Who in their right mind would trade Moss for anyone? He's far and beyond what TO is or ever will be. He's scores when he wants to, when TO has to actually work for his TD's. He could have 25 by now if they had chosen that route.

Moss isn't that much better than T.O. It is silly to say such a thing. This is Moss's best year, only because he is on a great team. Owens has had a better career, by far.
The teams you play have a lot to do with how well you play. Look at who is in New England's division. They have almost a sure 6 wins.
If Romo had more seasoned experience, the Buffalo game might have been different. T.O., like Moss, is only as good as his supporting cast. Moss's happens to be pretty good.
Think of it this way: what if T.O. was playing for New England... what kind of year do you think he would be having.
There is always the bigger picture. I would take T.O. He is stronger, and better after the catch. Though, Moss is no slouch.
Personally, it could be a toss up.

Get the heck off of here!! Moss is a great player, we know that. Matter of fact we probably know that better than you since he has torched the boys on several occasions. But let me say this, anyone who would say Moss is "far beyond what T.O. is or will ever be" is just an idiot with nothing better to do than try to hide behind silly words. I can only assume you are trying to make up for feeling like you were shortchanged in some other area in your life, like perhaps your manhood. Now I will give you the chance to respond and totally prove my point.

GregC,
I look forward to it. The Cheats will fall, and fall HARD.

Scotty K. is wrong.
I'll take Owens any day of the week. Owens is STRONGER, stronger with his hands, stronger in his presence, FAR stronger across the middle, an area Moss hesitates to go.
Owens will rip a ball out of the hands of a defender, for a catch, or to prevent an interception.
Owens may not be as fast as Moss, but he still can blow past people.
Owens can jump as high.
Owens has proven that he is all that, AND MORE.
If I were a GM just starting my team, it would all begin with Owens, Witten and Romo. And I'd build out from there.

Amazing the difference a year makes. Last year the media/80-90% of fans killed T.O. for the drops. This year it's a 180. Think maybe that hand was much more hurt than anyone believe?
Love T.O. Even when Irvin was walking through the courtroom with shades and fur coat, I still loved him b/c he went all out on Sundays and made the team 100 times better. Will do the same for T.O. He can do no wrong as long as he plays day in and day out...don't ever see that being an issue.

I think one team's gonna get a little sick of the Pats running up the score and send a scrub in to knock Brady's head off.
Or take a linemen's knee out (ie LT)
Or spear Moss.
And so on...

What a bunch of lowlifes advocating the injuring of Tom Brady because he's too good. Are you Tonya Harding fans by any chance? You are such losers!
