![]() GETTY IMAGES The Packers rank last in the league in rushing offense (81.8 yards per game), so LB Bradie James was awfully surprised by what he saw while studying Green Bay. RB Ryan Grant has been really good. "I had no idea of how well he was running the ball," James said. "When I watched film, I was like, 'Wow, this guy is actually a good running back.' He's one of the better running backs we've faced." James certainly isn't the only person surprised by Grant. After all, the dude didn't earn a spot on the Giants' roster in the preseason and only got a shot to start after a rash of injuries to ineffective Packers running backs. The result: The Packers suddenly have a running game capable of making foes pay for focusing on Brett Favre. Grant has rushed for 467 yards (4.6 per carry) and two TDs in the last five games. Grant isn't fancy, but he's a decisive runner who breaks a lot of tackles. "I like the way he doesn't waste any steps, runs low with his cleats in his ground, natural form lane runner, one-cut mentality," Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy said. |

I was just on the Packers website and comments. and all their fans are talking so much noise about how they are gonna come down here and beat us. And how our defense will never stop their offense. Lets pump up the freakin intensity... it feels so lackadasical on this blog and the atmoshphere doesn't seem right... WE ARE AMERICA"S TEAM!

I live in Milwaukee, WI. and am a Dallas Cowboys fan. All I keep hearing is how bad it is going to be for Dallas and how Bret Farve has been breaking records everywhere and Dallas will not be any different. Come on Cowboys, Help we feel great about rubbing it in their faces on Friday!

I am glad they think that they are going to come into our house and stomp us.
I have a ton of respect for Farve. In fact, he is one of my favorite players of the game... BUT, do any of the Green Bay fans remember how TERRIBLE he was in 2005 and in 2006. Does anyone care that he has never, NEVER had a quarterback rating of 100?
The key to this game, PRESSURE. Load up the box, bring the heat and make FARVE remember why he threw 29 picks in 2005!

Favre sounded like he was downplaying the game (in case they lose) the other day. Don't remember where I read it, but he was talking about how it wouldn't be all that big a deal if the Cowboys won, that the playoffs were where the big games were (or something like that - very loose paraphrase)...

Being from Burlington, WI. I can say I'm gonna love rubbing it in when Favre starts throwing picks and the old reality of the Packers playing in Dallas comes back to haunt their minds and sadden their faces.
I'm having a party. So far, I'll be the only Dallas fan. Should be fun. Need a win more than ever. At least til the playoffs start.
