A judge really did call Andy Reid's house a "drug emporium," but his sons' serious issues have nothing to do with last night's egging incident. We received this tip via e-mail and have yet to verify it. The police report supposedly stated: An empty egg carton was recovered at the scene. Three eggs went over his house & hit the neighbor's back door, four eggs hit the houses of each of his next-door neighbors, and the remaining eggs were found broken on the ground eight feet from the carton where the individual threw them. |

This would be a lot funnier if McNabb wasn't completing 60.2% of his passes. Where was this joke when Tarvaris Jackson was in town?

I think it's pretty obvious what happened in the egging incident. They had no candy left to give out after Andy had eaten it all, so they gave out fruit instead. The trick or treaters voiced their displeasure in the time-honored tradition!

Reid's son had steroids and heroin in his possession when busted, the house apparently is full of drugs, and it's been going on for over year. This is serious stuff that extends beyond simply the Reid household.
Wade Wilson's suspension looks worse and worse.

The rivalry with the Eagles is one of hate...Buddy Ryan extended it to hate of the other guys' families when he laid out bounties and tried to take away guys' careers. F his sons and F his podunk cop mustache. I hope this causes suffering in Philly. He should be suspended for this...ridiculous.

I guess all you posters are saints huh?
I feel sorry for Andy Reid and his wife. I'm sure they love their sons as much as you posters love your family members. Drug addiction can destroy a household and lives.
When your kids are babies and you hold them in your arms this is the last thing you think will happen to them.
You should never hold hate in your heart for others. It puts you in the same class as the Eagles fans that cheered when Michael Irvin went down.

JV,
I disagree...It is possible to be a decent and caring human being and still maintain the capability as a fan to judge, humiliate, and destroy those that want to do the same to you (i.e. the Eagles). Take the high road, by all means. I would do the same, but at some point you have to point back at jealous little pests and say, HAHAHHAHAHHA. F Reid and his cop mustache.

JV,
pay no attention to Scott in SA,
you are absolutely right about Reid and his wife.
Just because he coaches our most hated team as Cowboy sports fans, no reason not to feel for the family as human beings. Otherwise we are no better than those Eagle "fans" who cheered when Michael was lying on the carpet.
Posted by P.S. @ 9:19 PM Thu, Nov 01, 2007
Compassion? Absolutely!
But we are talking character. WW got busted "self-prescribing" HGH for his diabetes side effects.
Heroin, coke, steroids, testosterone, oxycotin and other pain killers were all found in the Reid household.
To protect the Eagles players, and to protect the Reid family, the NFL should step in.

This is a truly tragic time for the Reid family. We should focus our hopes and prayers toward them. Football aside, this is whats important. I would expect you morons to observe this. Come Sunday its game time. But this dude has some serious stuff that none of us wishes to deal with.
Posted by TSmith @ 9:25 PM Thu, Nov 01, 2007
That is very funny! However, his kids are old enough to take responsibility for their own actions. Andy needs to cut off the dollars to those brats. And then he needs to get beat real bad sunday so home will feel like a refuge.

Typical classless Cowboys fans, mocking someone whose family is in desperate trouble. I'm sure you find Michael Irvin's inability to shake drugs & shady acquaintances equally funny. If you don't, you're complete hypocrites. No matter what you think of someone, anyone with an ounce of class would feel desperately sorry for what the Reids are going thru--particularly anyone who has children of their own. If you're mocking the Reids, you'd better get down on your knees in private & hope that you're not in their shoes some day. And if you think it can't happen to you, well you might want to talk to Al Gore.
Tim, I see you also remain a grade A jerk. And the DMN continues its losing ways. According to E&P, circulation numbers coming out next week will show that the DMN had another large drop in circulation. Again. And that's since the DMN has been allowed to report its numbers--after lying about them because they were so bad. But with writers like you, Tim, & your buddy JJT, it's easy to see why people are abandoning the DMN in droves. It's not even fit for birdcage lining.
Hugs & kisses.

Maureen,
Your welcome to call out fans that get too overzealous in thier football bloodlust. And by all means, feel free to humiliate and belittle MacMahon all you want. But, I have to draw the line on JJT.
JJT tells it like it is and is the most straight forward sports reporter your likely to ever find. He is one of the main reasons I come to this site. You might not like what he has to say but I promise its not because of any bias like say ...oh I dunno.... Tim? If you appreciate honest straight up reporting then I encourage you to give JJT another chance. You won't be disappointed.

Maureen..Love ya babe, where have you been all my f'ing blog life...
Posted by Brandon B @ 11:38 PM Thu, Nov 01, 2007
Sorry, Maureen, but your post doesn't pass the sniff test, errr smell test (I wouldn't want to encourage any extracurricular "sniffing"). Sure the Reids are going through a tough time right now, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But let's not kid ourselves. The parents and the sons are responsible for this whole mess. I'm not sure what the parents have been doing lately, but it sure as hell wasn't parenting. I understand some kids get hooked on drugs regardless of the parents (but especially after the parents get narcotics for a high school football injury). That said, once parents find out a kid is on drugs, the parents can choose how to handle it. By all accounts, the Reids decided to let their sons continue on with their illegal activities. I would love to see the list of drugs and weapons that the judge referenced.
I'm sorry, but if a child of mine had a drug problem, the police are not going to find a long list of illegal items in my house because anyone on drugs can't be trusted and I would be serving my own "search warrants". Of course, I will have to draw the line at the body cavity searches that are apparently necessary...
As for Timmy, he is making fun of McNabb for the most part. Take a breath, Maureen.

MAUREEN, CALL ANDY REID AND ASK HIM WHERE HIS WIFE IS IN ALL THIS, SHE IS ALSO ON MEDICATION AND GIVING IT TO THE OTHER GROWN MEN IN THE FAMILY!

I feel badly for the Reid family. There's a lot there that we don't know about, good and bad, but the results are tragic for Andy and his wife. I hope their kids get the help they need.

"Just because he coaches our most hated team as Cowboy sports fans"
Andy Reid coaches the Redskins?
Posted by TSmith @ 11:12 AM Fri, Nov 02, 2007
Maureen please! Political correctness has no place here. Andy Reid has grown individuals living at his house with drug problems. Pray Andy kicks them out of the house and cuts off the dollars. And if his wife is supplying them the drugs she can go with them. Nothing but reality brings them home. Life has to go on for the responsible loved ones who are taken advantage of in these messes. Good luck Andy.

Maureen, you are the biggest hypocrite and chicken s*** on this blog. That's when you happen to post if you see an opportunity to spew your vomit all over Cowboy fans.
While I don't agree with bashing Andy Reid and the comment from Scott in SA (acting just like the very Philly fans that he despises), I do think that you are a coward. You have been totally wrong about 98% of your posts on here, yet your never here to take your medicine after it's proven that your posts were ridiculous.

The sons are adult addicts. Andy and his wife are not responsible for the decisions they chose. The sons are 24 and 21--- they are in charge of their own lives--- Andy should cut them loose, and put them out of the house.... they need to learn that they, and only they, will suffrer from their choices.
The Reid family is in my prayers..... addiction is a dreadful disease...but it is a disease. It is up to the sons to take advantage of the available treatment.

NFL Fox Sports commentators attemtped to make the Judge look like the "Bad Guy" in regard to Andy Reid. They forget to mention that one of his kids branded a hand gun on the person he hit in a car accident. Another missed a drug test, brought drugs to prison. The list goes on. "High Eagles High".
