Crockett leaves Valley Ranch $48,235 richer

The Cowboys cut FB Zack Crockett, who they picked up off waivers last week when Roy Williams was suspended.

Crockett arrived at Valley Ranch on Thursday. He participated in Thursday's practice, Friday's walkthrough and went on the trip to Carolina but was inactive for the game.

For all that hard work, Crockett pocketed $48,235, which is one-seventeenth of his $820,000 salary.

What'd the Cowboys get out of the deal? They worked out a veteran fullback just in case something happens to Oliver Hoyte.

Merry Christmas Zack!

I hope the cash infusion doesn't bump you into a higher tax bracket.

Thankfully Albert left that math up to someone who could actually do it. I could only imagine how Albert would have butchered that math.

That's strange, I always thought that Einstein was fairly proficient at mathematics.

Zack Crockett could probably play safety better than Roy "Toast" Williams. Cowboys should trade Williams IF they could find a buyer. Worst pass cover in the league and can't tackle "legally"

His $30 MM contract could be spent better on defensive and offensive linemen.
