Glenn a spectator, and so is Newman

WR Terry Glenn returned to practice, as promised, but was in shorts, a shirt and a ballcap, rather than the shorts-and-shells his teammates wore. The only thing we saw Glenn take a part in was passing lines, running a bunch of different routes and testing his right knee in cutting and breaking.

The only problem we saw was a single drop. But the truth is, running through individuals is hardly an indicator of a player's readiness to return from injury. Glenn did have a compression sock covering his right leg.

Also out for this one was CB Terence Newman. Coach Wade Phillips said Monday that Newman was being "checked out." The corner was off in the corner of the fieldhouse riding an exercise bike.

Either Newman and Henry are injured, or Philips is trying to make Philly think they are. Now we have a clue as to why Ball was promoted to the active roster.
