Apparently, Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh has the same problem a lot of Americans do: He doesn't get NFL Network. Appearing on ESPN Radio's GameNight tonight, Houshmandzadeh was asked if he wanted to see the Patriots get through their final two opponents to wrap up the first 16-0 regular season in league history. He said he was torn. Then, he said this: "I would like to see them get to the Super Bowl. It'll be real interesting to see how they match up with Green Bay's corners." What might be even more interesting is seeing if those corners, with a healthy Charles Woodson, can hold Tony Romo and Co. to less than the 309 yards and four touchdowns they yielded through the air in Texas Stadium a few weeks back. Because if that matchup isn't at least a little more "intriguing" than it was the first time around, T.J. may never get to see his dream matchup. Maybe Jerry -- being the NFL Net honcho he is -- can hook Housh up with a tape of the game, and some DirecTV info so he doesn't miss the little things again. |

There you go, Big Al! Now you are starting to break out of that biased east coast media-type shell you've been in and starting to sound like a real Cowboys beat writer! Keep up the good work.

Why in the world would Dallas send T.O. dropballs to the Pro Bowl? All he do is drop balls & yell @ people on the side line when he messes us,he asks just like he did in Philly! Look out Romo, T.O. will do a Donavan on you next!

Hush, Housh. It will be interesting to see how The Dolphins corners matchup with Cincy's corners (in the '08 draft).
Veronica, give up the pipe.

This is your best piece ever A.B.

He is right. NFL would love undefeated Patriots versus Farve in the twilight - can he go out on top?

Veronica.... please. You sound like a person who hasn't watched a second of football prior to the last game against Philly.
Do you have ANY idea why T.O. is starting in the Pro Bowl this year, after not making it to Hawaii at all last year?
He's no. 2 in receiving in virtually all categories behind Moss, largely because of last game, and Detroit practically triple teaming him the week before...
and he's STILL #2 in the NFL. We do NOT win 12 games without him this season. Give T.O. a break and move to Philly if you're not there already...

I don't mind veronica hitting the pipe, but get some good stuff at least

Veronica: Dallas is not sending T.O. to the pro bowl. He was voted in by fans, coaches, and his peers.

Sounds great coming from someone who plays for an underachieving team with a bunch of real law abiding citizens to boot.
How did that spanking that you guys received from San Francisco, one of the worst teams in the league, feel Housh?

Slow down guys. It would appear that veronica is probably in about the 5th grade. Forgive the poor little girl for she knows not what she does, or says for that matter.

Coming from him, I think it's going to be Dallas vs. Indy. Philly can jump up and bite anybody at any time. They should have beat the Pats a few weeks ago.

I still don't why GB still gets all this credit??!! They got whooped when it counted - Favre, KJB, Woodson, all out or not. (Harris is the better corner anyway). The game was worse then the final score indicated. They can't stop crying about the injuries..it's really sad. Until they beat us, they need to shut up.
On another note, I'm in Southern NJ (outside Phila) and they still are crying about TO. Problem is, they haven't had a real wideout on that team since he left. They sure like they're #2s and #3s though.
Veronica, are you smarter than a 5th grader? I'd bet the house against it. DOPE!

The sideways stripes on the BenGal's helmets are just so wrong. Anyone else think this looks gay?

I sure hope the Cowboys are thinking the same way as the fans when it comes to Green Bay. Should they match up again in the NFC Championship game, whether in Lambeau or Texas Stadium, it will be a different game.
The strip of TO (forward progress stopped?) was a big break for Dallas, as was not having Woodson on the other corner. Favre going out was a huge break for Green Bay because it forced them to get back to the basics of what has gotten them to 12-2 this year.
Yes, TO wiffing on the TD pass that turned into an INT was beyond amazing, how does he do that? But to simply believe the Cowboys are going to walk through the playoffs is naive on the part of the fans. As a huge Green Bay fan, I would love to see the rematch, but the fact is we both have to get to the game first and you never know what may happen on any given Sunday.

Packer Fan, I don't think any of us feel it will be a cakewalk, vs any team we play, however, what happened a few weeks back can't be overlooked. No excuses.
I am just baffled that because we lost to a hated division rival last week who really isn't that bad, specifically their defense, somehow the pack jumped over us in a lot of people's minds.

TG...put the Packers and the Cowboys against each other without the loses from injury and a good officiating staff and the game will be fun to watch.
No excuses meant here as you play the game with the players you have. However, it would be fun to watch the game with both rosters at full strength don't you think?
As for the officiating, I am not being specific to the previous game and missed calls that affected both sides, just the fact the officials around the league seem to be making a lot of game changing calls that are wrong. Packers have been the benefactor of some of them, but that doesn't make it right.

Yes, I do agree both teams at full strength would be a good game, however as we both know you have to play with what you have that particular week. Officiating for the most part has not been stellar all year, but during a game each team has ample opportunity to change the game themselves. I feel that bad calls even themselves out if not over each game, then certainly over the long season.
All this being said, I would much rather play GB at Texas Stadium than in Lambeau. I can see the headlines now if both make it to the NFC finale. Favre 0-9 vs Dallas never winning in Big D or The Ice Bowl II.
