Kitna's bold prediction already proven wrong

I've noticed that a few of you folks are fired up that the Cowboys can officially make Jon Kitna's 10-win guarantee impossible to accomplish.

Well, Kitna actually guaranteed more than 10 wins, so his bold prediction has already gone bust.

The Lions do still have an oh-so-slim chance of hitting the low end of star-bustin' WR Mike Furrey's 10-to-12-win prediction.

Looking forward to chatting with LB Bradie James and other members of the Dallas defense about Kitna and Furrey this week.

For me, it would be an embarrassment to lose to the freakin Lions, esp after all their trash talking last year. I would feel disrespected and I hope the whole team esp the Defense does too.

Jon Kitna, where's your Messiah now?

Tom from DC...

Yup! Last year was beyond embarrassment... it was total humiliation! If our heroes don't stomp the Pussycats into their litter boxes by at least two touchdowns, then I say redemption would be fleeting...

You know what? Next week's game is actually a gut check for our heroes. After whuppin' up on GB (albeit a little scary there for awhile...), next Sunday's games is supposed to be a "near certainty" (to borrow a term from Albert Breer...) Let us hope our heroes take care of bid'ness in Pontiac with a resounding statement of absolute dominance on both sides of the ball!

Can someone please remind me what happened with the Cowardly Lions last year? My mind is drawing a blank. And I saw Roy Williams (wr of cowardly Lions) got hurt and didnt return. Anybody know if he is out next wk?

This is going to be a very sweet week. I expect Ware to get 3 sacks, Ellis will get 2.5, Bradie James will have 1.5, and Canty or Ratliff will get 1 too. We'll make those trash talking punks look like the idiots by making sure their gaurantees don't come true. And the sweetest part of all we'll be back where we belong...on top of the NFC East and the NFC.

BigTexKahuna, you may want to think twice before borrowing something from Albert Breer. That's a bit like copying your test off the kid that wears a bicycle helmet 24/7.

Mike, the Lions beat us like 38-34 or something. But Kitna was talking trash about Bradie James being the dumbest player in the NFL. And Furrey celebrated a TD by breaking one of the stars that hang around the field.

As the starting QB, it's Kitna's job to be a team leader. The Lions may not have reached 10 wins, but I applaud him for sticking his neck out.

And yes, I am a Cowboy fan and have been for 35 years.

davej we get your point.....Cowboys 41 - Lions 10

Posted by david @ 9:28 AM Mon, Dec 03, 2007

Well if they manage to win out and go to the playoffs and win a game I suppose it still possible... so we can still knock them out.

Willie Lions will have their hands full on Sunday and probably will play like kittens. Never know when the kittens or the big cats are going show up. Very inconsistent team and their record shows it at 6-6. A 500 team talking big like they are is comical. Mike Furrey, the star buster will probably get his personal star stuck up his nose or somewhere else a little darker. Dallas 38 - Detroit 13. Only a prediction, it could go higher.

About Kitna being a team leader...Leaders are supposed to be smart too and that was one dumb prediction.
